Great Cheap Airport Parking Hunt merged threads

Just used the Marriott Hotel Heathrow airport for two weeks parking / one night accomodation mid August for £75.00.

Booked with Marriott for £195 and used the price match guarantee using https://www.parking4less.co.uk. They priced it at £99. Marriott very kindly honoured the lower price and gave an extra 25% off. Hence £75.00

I have just looked up the manchester airport website and it says they have a brand new car park called the shuttle park, it is only 1.5miles from the airport, I have looked at the map and it looks very easy to find, the cost for me to prebook for my 4 week stay is only £60 for the 4 weeks, that is £100 saving on where I usually go, I was hoping someone might have tried it and could let me know their opinion

very useful list of links.
pitty that the Tesco voucher system seems to need about a month to be safe.
For 10 days at Heathrow in 18 days time prices ranged from 50 to 100 GBP.
(Purple Parking's prices were all over the range ?!)
I'll post a quick comment on an appropriate forum to comment on cheapie aph's performance.

We got back OK - there was a bit of a long wait for the mini bus on the way back, but we managed to squeeze onto the first minibus on the way out; sitting next to the chatty driver who complained he was not allowed to listen to the the dashboard radio - perhaps because the lady controller wanted his undivided attention. The car was in a huge compound down near the river in Uxbridge.

Allow lots of time if using the M25 and listen to 1152 medium wave; ready to take to the back roads if there is trouble ahead - the journey back on the M25 was a killer.

Verdict: AN ALL ROUND BARGAIN

Hi, I am looking for any advice on how to get the cheapest method or parking my car while away on holiday. We are flying from Birmingham and looking for a hotel that does not charge extortionate prices for 1 nights stay and 15 days car parking. Any suggestions/links/ideas are most welcomed,

Can you give us an idea of budget, please?

You can pre-book parking in the multi-storey at the Airport for £75, which is cheaper than many hotels. Remember that if the hotel is not at the airport, you'll either need one that provides a shuttle or you'll have to fork out for a taxi, in addition to the cost of the room
