I still dont have mine. DHL did attempt to deliver it yesterday with a correct number on it this time so I arrange a redelivery for today stayed in all day and sod all arrived. Just spent 20 mins on the phone to be told they cant now deliver it until monday as redeliverys on the site (which their card tells you to do) dont always work!!! Im now having to have another day off work Im not at all impressed and have sent an official complaint to DHL for their lack of customer service!!!

DHL are useless they never ring the telephone number clearly stated on the package, I even made them write it on the side of the box in massive letters on a redelivery and they still didnt ring it despite it being unmissable saying "ring this number when you deliver lol" (this was back when my doorbell wasnt working)
  • Are we allowed to offer the vouchers to people who express an interest on here? I'm assuming that whatever method you use for distributing them you can't be sure they won't end up on ebay. I haven't managed to interest any of my friends and family so far, even though I'm finding the light quite good myself and will be taking it to the States in a couple of weeks and will try the jetlag bit.
  • I got this because I suffer from SAD and used to have a lumie light that broke, so with the price tag as it is then I thought it would be good - sadly it just about induced a migraine so I won't be trying it on myself again :( Going to take it to work and show people though, and offer the vouchers out as intended. Am I meant to say in my report that it gave me a headache?
  • p.s. No sign of the money having gone out of my account yet as far as I can see - this bothers me a bit as I don't want it to suddenly get debited! Has anyone else actually been charged the £40? Surely at that amount they wouldn't ask for it if they weren't going to take it?

Whats peoples views on it so far. Ive only used it twice for 20 minutes (is this right), and do you just have to look at it or have it on like a normal light?
So far i cant say whether or not it is making a difference, im not sure.

  • Just going to try and answer some questions from above. Having read the instructions you are meant to use this light with normal lights switched on too. Also use it indirectly and it says not to look at it directly.

As for has it made a difference, I am undecided but I have had two effects so far. Slept through for the first time in months. Also, I feel like the clocks have gone forward already and feel a marked difference in my overall mood, a bit like what I get when spring fianlly comes around. I think it's having an effect but difficult to say after only 4 uses.

For length of use and intensity, do the questionnaire on the phillips site to identify the best schedule for you

I got a FREE phillips go lite - I went on ebay and they where selling for £110+ on there, most people bought for £50 and sold em it seems.

Ive left mine in the kitchen, can't see any real major difference... But I did get up early this morning...
