£32 is too much in my opinion so I am not going to sign up

    Hi there,

I have just turned down the campaign too! I was really excited initially, then DISGUSTED when they sneakily asked for £32!!!!! I said I would happily return the product post testing, but that it was shocking to ask for that much money! I might have paid a tenner or less, but don't really need more straighteners, and certainly not at £32!!

    Bzz off!

    SFG x
  • never had any straigteners so I accepted the offer, and am now panaking didnt know you could get them that cheap elsewhere! Anyone else take up the offer, or just me????

omg there like £24 new online and they want £32 no way ill stick to my ghds thanks
  • I am disgusted with this!!! ... I wonder if they are going to end up "selling" all their trial products.

You do know BzzAgent Jono is on twitter, don't you? I sent him a message about it and he asked for more details, so I have just sent him some ...

If any of you have twitter and want to say you don't think it's fair to him, then his id on there is:

    @bzzagentjono

If you are signed up to twitter, or sign up (you only need a username and e-mail address), then click on "find people", put his id in then add him to your list of people to follow.
Click on his home page and then, clicking at the right hand side of any message on there gives you an option to send a message ... or just type your message in the main message box with his id (including the @) at the start of it. He'll get that, too.

At least it's a direct way of letting them know we don't think much to these pay-to-trial campaigns!!!!
  • Don't mind paying a contribution for larger items but i agree this one is a bit too much! Plus i just bought some new ghds.
i joined the iron campaign and had to pay £20 but it was well worth it and it was something i'd always wanted.
sorry bzz can't justify this, ebay sell them much cheaper. almost tempted, might have gone for it at £15 but £32 is way too cheeky

Havent had the invite but I would have declined it as well. I already have some good hair straightners and £32 is a lot of money.

I can see why they are charging though as many people will sell it on Ebay and such and make money out of it.

I agree that they should charge a nominal price.
  • I already have wet2straights, pity. It's the wide ones not the slim, but still.
I'm not a complete idiot!........... Pieces of me are missing :rotfl:
  • I received the invite too, a real cheek asking for £32, I have absolutely no problem paying a fee for a really expensive item e.g a I did the phillips pressurized steam iron and paying £20 for an item that effectively cost £110 is well worth it as I love my iron and have definitely benefited from it, I think Bzzagents need to re-think their strategies a bit, as I dont think very many people would be prepared to participate in a campaign that requires members to pay £32 for a item that you can purchase elsewhere for less!
LOVE isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live WITHOUT
