oh to be young again......... they grow up too quickly don't they now?

It's all bratz, barbies and stuff!!

I've had the conversation with Erin about why Playboy bunny stuff is not suitable for a 7 yo... maybe i was too frank, as she pointed to the top shelf mags in somerfield yesterday and said is this the kinda book that has the bunnies in it??? too honest for my own good?!!

Lucifa - I know!! I should have just cleaned the toilet and bathroom! i just can't believe how many sets of clothes they have with them - they are going in the morning!

Have to say, OH has been great with my niece, he sat and watched a DVD film with her last night and then played with the tub of bubbles she'd bought and then taught her a basic karate sequence!

Obviously that's the key to him doing stuff with me - I'd better go and buy a bottle of bubbles!

Oh yes, and that was the beginning of his illustrious climb up the property ladder of Her majesty's pleasure!

But bless him, he's alright now!

I lurrrrrrrved Enid Blyton - Magic Faraway Tree, etc the chair with the wings on, Mallory Towers, St Clares (made me want to go to boarding school and learn lacrosse!)

Yes - I think I threw a complete wobbler when I was told boarding school was not an option.

I'd love to be able to make the google buns from the Magic Faraway Tree too. Hmm - must visit shop and get some old Blyton books...

Wasn't famous five a tv programme in the 70s?
