and Aberdeen is apparently the happiest place to live in the UK

I'm going to see my Mum, Dad is struggling as she gets further down the altzheimers path. I'm hoping to get her out of the house and take her somewhere nice, and sunny. Maybe to a beach.

DD is coming too, but she is v naughty and laughs when Gran asks something for the nth time, or denies knowing that Popeye is away  (she can get aggressive when she thinks we're keeping secrets from her.)

Sorry, but I lived in Aberdeen and the surrounding area for 20+ years and it was probably the most miserable time of my life for a lot of it

Is that true about aberdeen?! I never knew that! It's a nice place, although i live out in the countryside, so even nicer.

Sorry to hear about your mum olive, poor dad coping with that. It must be hard. I think i'm at the stage where me and mum need one another equally but already i can see the balance tipping into her dependency on us more....

Luc, thanks for your lovely kind words. It's not anything bad, just me being hard on myself... nothing is *wrong* as such....

Still helping my mate sort out her books, sammy said her accounts firm would have called her a carrier bag customer, which made me laugh as she was very much like that, papers everywhere and in no order at all!! you'd have screamed!!!
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....

    Hi all,

Not been around really for a while... saddened by recent events and the thread about IA leaving... hope she returns.

Also have I missed Bunny getting back with hubby?

Hugs to all that need them today xx

Ooo - don't say that - it might be taken as a challenge and keep her away:eek:
