    We read a beautiful book in school called 'Walkabout' which was about a brother and sister (both kids) who survived a plane crash in the Australian outback and how they survived the time in the desert.

    I remember reading that book too....wasn't it made into a film years later? I rarely see a film that is better than the book (IYSWIM). Shatters all my illusions.

    Yes it did become a film. And I know what you mean about films from books - there is so much depth of character missed out because its difficult to convey thought processes. Even CSI is better as a book!

    Can't yet is better than won't ever.

    We didn't exactly plan for this, just kind of stopped taking precaustions and let nature do her thing!:o :rotfl:
