I signed up for Egg Money Manager at 5pm, and by 10pm, it was broken.
I'm getting this message: "The page you're trying to get to isn't available at the moment. We're working hard to fix this for you. Please try again later."

Nice while it worked though, but clearly not very reliable.

I have been having the same message for several days, and I have been using money manager for a few years now. Unsure what the problem is - usually Egg have more helpful error messages. Anyone having the same problem?!

    Fine for me...
  • how strange. I get the same error in IE at work and at home, and in firefox at home. guess i will have to call Egg. It is really annoying since i can't even look at Your Money to see my Egg Money balance. Grr.

Have you only just signed up or could you get onto it before?

I would assume they have blocked access to your account for either reasons like you haven't proven your identity or something (which you will get something in the post about it).

However, I do recommend you do email them, their customer service I have found to be quite good.

Thanks for the advice, I had just signed up but it did start working the next day by itself, so can't have been that. I'm glad to hear their customer service is good.

It's a handy tool alright, I just wish it could display the minimum payment due on my credit cards, and whether or not I've paid it. And I wish that Ulster Bank was one of their organisations!
You're spelling is effecting me so much. Im trying not to be phased by it but your all making me loose my mind on mass!! My head is loosing it's hair. I'm going to take myself off the electoral role like I should of done ages ago and move to the Caribean. I already brought my plane ticket, all be it a refundable 1.
  • today it is working fine for me, hooray.

I haven't been able to use internet explorer for a few weeks but finally got it working and so have been able to use Egg Money Manager again (it doesn't work on Firefox).

However, my accounts with Abbey, Lloyds and PayPal all showed errors after logging in. I clicked the link to go to that account to try to resolve the error and got a page asking me for some "extra" information e.g. Debit card number, 3 digit security code, ATM pin etc. The sites "looked like" the real thing but with some poor grammar and spelling.

Obviously alarm bells began to ring so I didn't fill in these details. Could Egg Money Manager have been targetted by fraudsterd in this way? My accounts with the 10 or so other institutions worked fine as usual.

    I'm a bit concerned!

You can use Egg Money Manager with Firefox. See "Firefox" in above posts.

PayPal? I didn't realise you could link them. Thanks!

This morning I had problem links with some accounts; tried again 5 mins later and its fine.
Haven't seen the "extra" info requests. Suggest its ok but you MUST talk to Egg about this ASAP.
If you put your general location in your Profile, somebody here may be able to come and help you.

Thanks for the Firefox tip - I've been patiently trying to fix my internet explorer for about a month for no reason then!

I'll call Egg as soon as I get to work. It really was odd. If you or anyone else gets an error link this morning to an account (particularly with one of the three I mentioned) click it and see if you get the same issues as I did.

  • I am having problems accessing RBS - I don't know if they have changed their website but it's not clicking through like normal for some reason...
