Talk Talk Mobile too good to be true

I'm not quite sure why CPW would talk about Onetel when they own TalkTalk and that is why they are going to push using TalkTalk?
I did speak to a TalkTalk salesman a week or so back and he said they are bringing out some new offers mid November so presumably this is what zincoxcide mentions?0 -

Carphone Warehouse are not going to recommend Onetel are they? After all they own Talk Talk and they dont recommend other phone companies like Onetel.0 -

Sounds good the one tel thing though I will have to check prices. If i could get all my friends on talk talk too it would save me even more.
I have to say I am not surprised they sit you down with a cup of tea when you are paying monthly bills such as you are!0 -
How about getting a couple of phones on the T-mobile tariff of 3000 minutes a month to landlines and T-mobile, £15 +vat per month? You can get cashback with this with a modest phone like Nokia 3120, so about £6 per month for each phone. You need to prove you're a business user though, but that shouldn't be too difficult.
One or two dealers have had an OVP equivalent of this on Orange, which is surprising, as Orange didn't reckon it exists. But no casback deals here.
Don't ring other mobile networks directly from that tariff though - go via a cheap calls provider for 10p to 15p per minute.0 -

i have been in to carphone and here is the deal, can anyone beat this
9.50 line rental on home phone x2
10.00 per month for 3 talk talk mobile sims
this gives me FREE calls between all other talk talk home phones and mobiles. (my friend is on TT)
If I get my friends on tt they will give me a 10.00 credit on my bill too. I also get free weekend calls to any other home phone. Only prob is i have to wait to november to sign up in store.
this works out at 48.98 per month a saving of over £200 per month.
i cant wait to sign up. I have to tell all my friends now.
thanks for all your advice0 -
Have they told you the call charges to non-TalkTalk mobiles?
And is this "deal" dependant on you taking out TalkTalk home line rental?0 -

This is the T-mobile cashback deal. With a Nokia 3120, it says it works out to £3.89 per month - this assumes you reclaim VAT. If not it will also cost the VAT on £15 ie £2.63

This is a similar deal on Orange (presumably an OVP equivalent), but doesn't appear to have any cashback.

calls to non tt mobiles 15p per minute, 7p per text.0
