i would send it back withou the stamp on and fill the evelope with some hinges so its heavy and then he can pay for the no stampReplies to posts are always welcome, If I have made a mistake in the post, I am human, tell me nicely and it will be corrected. If your reply cannot be nice, has an underlying issue, or you believe that you are God, please post in another forum. Thank you0

just start an unpiad item dispute.
if it is the cheque the buyer willl either get it back if they hvae there address on it or it will be binned but either way they will not see the cheque go through there bank account0

Alternatively , it could be an important letter from the bank

securely destroyedI believe the PO add a £1 'admin fee' on there as well. Really fair !
well do you know how much it costs to deal with underpaid items?
its been 2 years so people should get with the programme and pay the correct postage
then i wouldnt have to spend hours sorting, carding, doing the accounts on and returning charged items0

go to the post office and ask to look at the letter before deciding to pay the fee or not - I would.
I have done this on several occasions and each time I chose not to accept the letter.
The one time MY OH had this it was because the letter was 0.05mm to wide and only had a standard stamp. My OH argued politely with the person who said don't worry about the fee.0
