The size of a glory hole in an open pit should not be greater than the cross-section of the haul trucks that dump into it. Otherwise, you are bound to lose a truck, sooner or later. Source: Sergio Cha

    Hello Everyone

Well, I've spent several hours over the weekend catching up on all the shenanigans going on here. I've wanted to chip in but haven't managed to catch up til now so here goes:

:hello: - Hi Jake, good to see a newbie in here.... good luck with your new ladyfriend!!

BGB - Wowza! and Hurrah! The only issue I would have in buying a 4 bed is the bloomin' cleaning!!! I am of course very jealous, remember to keep us posted as I am now living vicariously through you!

Shoegal - don't be so hard on yourself. That is one of the best thing about being single is that you only have to answer to yourself (and of course your dd's & ds's!) Sometimes I lose the weekend in a haze of tv and dvd watching and spend the time in my pj's. You work really hard - that is obvious in your other posts and you deserve some chill out time.

Sarah and Lula - :j on losing 2lbs - that is great. They say the first week of a diet a lot of the weight is fluids and clearly you were keeping your fluid levels topped up with gordons!

Eco - at your experience - that would have had me panicking big time! I'm a bit of a scaredy cat!!!

Ossireo - I find app forms really really time consuming. I would say that you always need to back up your claims. So, for example, if you are saying I am great at customer service, give an example of when you have given great customer service. I normally tweak a few things to make a good example, don't bend the truth too much but I think you can change a few things to make it work well for you. Good luck with it and see if you have anyone who is a good writer who can proof read it for you, really good way to make sure it all makes sense etc.

TDQ - did you spend the weekend shopping for your new flat??

    I hope I haven't missed anyone out.

I spent weekend at my parents which was lovely.

I'm currently eating some fab sausages from a farm shop down where they live and they are sooo lush, really good quality but very good value.

I'm also watching Heroes, didn't realise the new series started today so was lucky to catch it!

Sarah - you will not be surprised to learn that my cunning plan re: Wallis delivery has failed. The dress I ordered to bulk out my order is really lovely and surprisingly very flattering which is very rare for someone of my 'figure' so I'm gonna keep it. I am going to return the rest though, so 2 out of 4 idsn't too bad!!!
I've got my own flat :j:j

Now I have to pay the bills

And feed my interiors addiction ;)

Hi everybody :hello: hope you've all survived Monday in one piece!

Not a bad day for me, feeling a lot better than yesterday. Stuck to my diet plans today and got loads done at work. Didn't manage any exercise, but it's only Monday and my target is 3 sessions this week, so there's time yet!:rotfl:

Seen a lovely ring which is going to be my treat if I lose 5lbs in 2 weeks HSprincess.pngthanks Sarah, for the reward idea :T

Hello hello and hello again. I've just found out that Mindless Self Indulgence are playing in Sydney in April :D Unfortunately the tickets are $90 a pop!!!! Plus train fare to Sydney and then beer/kebab and it'll be an expensive night! Worth it to see an amazing band I've wanted to see for years???

I was here this morning as I had provisionally booked today off in case I needed the day to complete the 10 days of the detox, it turned out I didn't of course:o , but decided to take the day off anyway. Would love to give up work in order to detox and walk, sounds like a fair swap to me:D
