Thanks Sarah and Buffy, just having somebody understand makes me feel a bit better
I like Sarah's idea or small targets and then a reward, so I am aiming for 5lbs loss in 2 weeks and then a treat. I will keep you updatedSometimes it's hard to walk in a single woman's shoes - that's why we need really special ones!Total debt @ Oct 2008: £29,226.42 Credit Card- £[STRIKE]7493.56[/STRIKE] - £7243.56Weightloss : 0/34lbs0 -
can I just add a note to say God I hate application forms, can never sell myself well on the damn things!0

mmmm 56     , dont know what to say to her know
Errrr, cant really help you out on that one... you did say you liked older women.
Sarah - snap to the 2lb on the detox  - am also cross with self as could also have lost 6lb if I had tried
Utterly pathetic effort from me. Not trying any more faddy diets, just going to have a good breakfast, eat plenty of fruit as snacks rather than crisps & choc, put into use all the good habits i learned but ignored last week & do more exercise
.
My head fine today as only had 2 long ones last night, was at the allotment by 11, went to visit grandmother this afternoon & having the last of the tonic right now so my new sensible life starts tomorrow :j0 -

I am glad I did it, as I have learned I can alternate coffee with fruit teas as they are actually quite nice, that a walk to the shops won't kill me, I can manage an evening very well without having to have a glass of wine to hand and that low carb is the only thing that is going to work for me. It's just that it is going to take so long, when I want instant results:rolleyes:Pay/save £20k in 2010 £5888.75/£20,000June Mini target 0/5lbs Total 23/40Ebay profit 2010: March £207:) April £95:) May £130:) June £0 Total £432:j0 -

I think we both struggle with this bit! I know you're supposed to think it's a lifestyle change and not a diet etc - but I just can't wait! :eek:Sometimes it's hard to walk in a single woman's shoes - that's why we need really special ones!Total debt @ Oct 2008: £29,226.42 Credit Card- £[STRIKE]7493.56[/STRIKE] - £7243.56Weightloss : 0/34lbs0 -

what sort of job is it, and we might be able to give you some ideas?
We went to Xscape and went on this assault course thing 50 meters up in the air, you get harnesed up and 2 ropes, I wasn't scared till I had to set off from the platform, and saw the gap from the platform to the first moving platform, I've never gripped anything so hard before, all the platforms were suspended from chains every time i tried to move forward to grab a chain my feet were going backwards, i am so happy to be alive and typing this in bed, i'm normally scared off heights but that wasn't my biggest worry up there, getting off a live was, never ever will i do that again.0 -

You're right - it's very achievable & small targets with rewards is a good plan.
I start again tomorrow.
Ossie - I feel for you & application forms - hate them too0 -
