I have been tidying up and I have another problem. There is no more room. I need to store my new coat and the top and skirt I bought and there is nowhere to put them.

And you expect sympathy for this :D

I was reading an article today on feeling better at this time of year, and 1 of the things to do is to wear the clothes you keep for best, wear them at the weekend, this is supposed to cheer you up and make you feel better.

space dust and Xouthern comfort go down a treat, and I swear the stuff was still crackling on my tounge when I was asleep.

and you all reminded me, my ex was younger than me and 1 of the things I remember saying was I'm not looking after you, I'm not your bl***y mother. I always knew that relationship wasn't going to last forever but it was good while it lasted.

I have been tidying up and I have another problem. There is no more room. I need to store my new coat and the top and skirt I bought and there is nowhere to put them. I cannot hang another single thing up. I cannot fit another bag in the bottom of my wardrobe. Or the top. The overflow baskets which are full of bagged and tagged clothes have no more room. I can't even remember what is in them. Can't buy another basket, it will look silly.

I already have 6 boxes of shoes stacked up in my room as I have no room for them anywhere else. There is literally nowhere to put anything. Despite this I wear the same few clothes in rotation, because it's too difficult to get into my wardrobe and if I get anything out of the baskets I won't be able to hang it up. Am a bit stumped here to be honest.

    Sarah!

this is going to sound harsh especially for a sunday night but here goes.

those bags and boxes are eactly what is keeping you in this situation. exactly.

you have to learn how to e bay or do a boot sale or something. you simply cannot and should not live surrounded by stuff you don't wear or actually need.

I do or rather did have a shoe problem but they are waiting for me to e bay now I bought boots in the sale but mine were knackered and beyond the magic of timpsons.

As for clothes, well, I chucked Loads and have a bag for e bay. I have one skirt and one pair of jeans for when I am thin and everything in my wardrobe I could wear. I may not like it but I wear it(all plain boring fat girl clothes)

How badly do you want that house?

Thanks eco, that's a good idea. Have more clothes for best than strictly necessary and it will make me feel better to get some use out of them. I know when I look better I feel better and some of those things have been in bags for a couple of years, may as well get some use out of them.:o

Not harsh at all, totally true:o I have a week off next week so I shall commence the great tidy up. I will get everything out of my wardrobe and if it has not been worn over the last 2 years it will go. I cannot get the bagged things out yet as they don't fit:o but it should at least clear up some space.

You are right that they are responsible for my current situation as a) they have cost me money I could have saved and b) I am feeling crushed by all this stuff, everywhere I look there is stuff. I have a room full of lovely things and I wear the same clothes, the same shoes and it must stop. But the problem is that most things don't fit and I need to diet into them. Which is a big problem as it takes forever and I am struggling with it. :o

I want the life the kind of clothes I have indicate. It is mostly all nice smart casual stuff that could be worn for work or the weekend so I must crack on with it, I know I will feel loads better when I can wear them, for one thing I will be thin:D First things first, shall take the red shoes for their first outing this week.

And I want that house very badly:D

Sarah only wear the clothes you won't want to put on ebay, you may as well get more for not wearing them if you did decide to sell them.

Me and my sister have a little saying now, we are buying no more carp, cos we have no more room for it, we buy useful presents like alcohol, that can be enjoyed and recycled, bit boring but it means I am finally getting the spare room cleared, and am not adding to it.

    Ello Ello,

I had an awesome weekend :D Went out drinking on friday with my two friends from England and people from work and their friends and had a great time. Also met a colleagues sister who was looking very tasty until I found out she's only 17!!!
Then we went on a wine tour up the Hunter Valley on Saturday and visited wineries like Lindemans and McGuians and got very drunk in the 40 degree heat! On our way back we stopped to buy a crate of beer then got the driver to drop us off at the pub... messy times!
Yesterday we went for a BBQ in a beautiful park that overlooks the Pacific ocean and then went swimming in the "bogie hole" which is a pool cut out of a cliff face and filled naturally by the sea. My friends had a great time and now I'm rather brown too :D

As for the conversation on older/younger men I have always ended up with younger women and it's been a complete nightmare so far. Yet the one older woman (the 29 yr old) was a complete stalker so I don't care about age, merely mentality.

The convo about grey hair peaked my interest too as I'm far too young for it yet when I was 19 and in a long term relationship I had plenty!! After we broke up it all went away which just proves that women cause men to go gray!

Buffy, of course you haven't offended me! :D You should know by now that we think along such similar lines that most of the things you say I have already said to myself:D Am hoping this is my year for cutting down on the clothes shopping. :o
