I emailed Boots on Monday as I have had the facial day cream as completed for nearly two weeks and haven't received one. I didn't want them to think I hadn't bothered filling in the questionnaire when the trial ended so I queried it with them.

This is the reply I have just got from them which may help some of you:

Thank you for your email.

We trial 65 samples of each new product to capture in use information from consumers. Currently the samples are issued on a first come, first served basis. Initally you will see an 'in progress' message against your request however this only means you have been added to the waiting list and not that you are guaranteed to get a sample. All products are issued within 1 week of a request launched therefore if you have not received a sample after 2 weeks you have unfortunately not been allocated one of the 65 samples.

We do not currently send any message to confirm you have been allocated a product or you haven't. We are working with our IS Department to make improvements to our communication on this. These improvement will take time so we hope you will work with us until then.

We apologise for any confusion or inconvenience in the meantime.

I got the same response, it didn't completely answer my question but at least it was a reply!

I got that email reply too....still hoping for the 'completed' ones tho :j

Was just going to post to say I got the same reply too, hope I get either/or both Bath Foam & Lip Balm today in post.

My thoughts too!! didn't completely answer my email either and it doesn't explain how it can go to completed and you still don't get into the trial!! :rolleyes:

But like you say - at least it was a reply!!

Sound like they are having a number of blips and hopefully will be sorted out over time!

Well now I am completely confused!
I had bath foam and almond lip balm in completed, the rest in progress. This morning yipee I received a Boots parcel - guess what it was? Coconut Lip Balm . I'm happy cos I would have preferred this anyway but their system is complete gobbledegook!:rolleyes:

Although the bath foam and almond lip balm are completed on mine i havent received either and the way things are going probably wont ,lol.
