Fact is I know that MSE is a big part of my life and still in 2 minds about it as it's a big jump to go from MSE being such a massive part of my life to being driven out and having nothing. I have been lurking and still trying to make my mind up as to whether I'm going to allow myself to be pushed out by the minority who have picked on me.

I don't want to leave, but all I seemed to have done is kicked up a whole load of crap that I didn't mean to and caused people to fall out with each other.

For that I am really, really sorry.
People like debating - look at those moral maze money threads... the IA personna probably a bit bigger than the person but you aren't the cause... you aren't going to stop other people pinning their needs and wants on your thread the only thing you can change is how you react and what you take from it.... if it feels like someone is picking on you beat them down with a more intelligent answer, use the points they raise to focus on what you want, take it as a challenge. You won't please everyone all of the time but you can use it to work out who you want to please or what will work for you. This stuff is going on without - you aren't fuelling or triggering it's just stuff and other people's ideas floating around there already.... Sometimes you're very open in your own debating and we all wade in with ideas - perhaps you should regain control of your thread and state what you are going to do and want and then ask for practical suggestions to get there rather than debates on the rights and wrongs... I was personally more shocked by the people suggesting it was 'selfish' to spend 3 hours doing CAB training and neglecting your 'tiny babies' and that seems to be a really blossoming opportunity... your SoA has been pityfully frugal at times and yet it gets pushed further and generally there are lots of don't forget about haircuts, holidays, presents for other people so yes it does seem to be different standards but perhaps there'll be a right time for you to dictate what's right for you.... remember your doing a lot more than a lot of people and it's hard for some people to see - it can grate if they are stuck in a rut and if you go off and manage to break the cycle and fulfil some of those aspirations it shows that they didn't manage it because of circumstance or bad luck or because it wasn't possible - just that they didn't. The debt wobbling up again isn't a disaster or a failing it's probably just the next natural step and tackling it may well be a really positive experience in the long run and prove great insight for the CAB work....

Firstly, I'm sorry you have seen the worst of DFW this evening. But as you say, up until this point, you had been impressed with the support. You must have noticed by now that this sort of thread is very rare (thankfully) on DFW.

DFW is still one of the most supportive boards on the internet - I hope you will reconsider, because I think you may be in for a shock if you feel other boards wont have these sorts of posts on them.

Give us a chance, jump in and start posting.......see what you think in a few days, when all this has died down.

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
Right ok guys, sorry to say this, BUT !!!!!!, what the hell are we coming to. Is there really any need to be rowing like this, No disrespect and i have every respect for IA, but with things going on the last few weeks and the massive amount of support that has been shown to certain posters. ie: weller, and no one even with hardest heart can bypass what has happened to her. We have had some people that have been near breaking point and close to suicide. Where have we been. Supporting them. And that is what we are all about. Somebody is leaving for a while, ok, they need a break. END OF. Now while everyone is rowing on here there is someone out there posting asking for advice, help, support. I for one could with some of that. I am a long time poster, yet even i cant put down half of what i need to to get the right advice. Only because this is an open forum and i know that the outside world will read my posts and that will cause more trouble than its worth. This is my sanctuary. I come here because it keeps me sane and has stopped me from going to the bottle. Be it drink or pills. And i am sure there are many peeps in the same situatuon. Now all i will say is SHUT THE Fooooook up. I loves ya all

Please let this drop now, if this all goes pear shaped then i for one will not have anywhere to turn to. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
