just thinking .... the new handset that i've got which we've just unlocked .... it's got a vodaphone payg sim in it.

probably needen't have unlocked it as i want to transfer my sim from my old 3330 ... and it's a vodaphone tariff ..... but will only come up as "sim card not accepted" on the new 3310

Hi guys,
am i being a bit dense here - i have an unlock code but the thing is i can't get to the screen where i input it. the only screen i can get is the "insert SIM" screen and when i put in the code nothing happens. Its a nokia 1100 locked to the orange network. Any advice would be really appreciated as i'm off to ireland tomorrow!!
