aww snags, sometimes it's hard dealing with other people's reaction because our kids look so normal. The other day I had to drag amber around asda by one arm while she was lying on the floor having a meltdown. I tend to just laugh now because it has been so often over so many years I'd be in the nut house if not. You have to just shrug off their reactions, they don't have a clue, sometimes I ask if they feel they would like to take over... if they can do a better job, be my guest :) Sometimes if people look concerned I explain she has autism... sometimes I just tell them to P!ss off to drum in the message I'm a chavvy rotten mother :D

The fact is, these people really haven't got a clue. No one knows what the day in day out dealing with this stuff is like. So who the hell are they to think they even have the right to look in your direction. Honestly honey, pick your battles, you've enough to worry about getting through the times when Ryan's AS is an issue, don't waste a moments energy worrying about people who don't matter one bit.

Me too Gemzie, but how 'nice' if that's the right word for Weller to have such a lovely letter from her man. It really is something for her and the children to treasure.

I know what you mean, and the children have one each too - just shows what a thoughtful bloke he was, who loved his family so much

That's what I was wondering. Not noticed Facebook, but she's said a few things on here that made me wonder ;)

Mrs S - my sister has cerebal palsy and people can be very cruel and actually downright rude. Whilst cerebal palsy is an obvious disability and Ryan - to an outsider - probably looks like he is throwing an tantrum - many people judge. What I learnt from having a sister with a disability was the ability to ignore small mindedness from people who live small lives.

You are a great mum, we all know that, and so does Ryan. That is all that matters. Try to ignore the negative vibes and keep on going. (although it isn't easy is it!)

Anyway on another note - my laptop is under attack. I seem to have a really bad virus - spyware I think.. I have run AVG virus constantly and it keeps picking up various viruses and healing them, but more appear. Adware is popping up everywhere and things keep flashing up to say i am under attack.. I am currently downloading avg spyware but my laptop is running so slowly that it says it is going to take another 5 hours to download. I have run spybot.

    Anyone else got any ideas!
