    Hi Girls,

i haven't been able to get on today, due to the interview situation!! Went to the first one and I really like the sound of it. I would be a welfare officer, getting long term unemployed back into the workplace. It's really interesting, you could end up doing really well, they put you through courses and everything if you want further education.

The other one, I don't fancy as much, the girl seemed too eager for me to go to the company for an interview, this equals dodgy as far as I am concerned, I'll need to think about it. I've got my other one on Friday and I'll see what else I can dig up meantime.

Happy Birthday BF, sorry I missed the celebrations today, hope Alton Towers is brilliant.

I am shattered tonight, I am not used to moving around so much, my feet are killing me:rotfl: , the exercise will have done me good though!!

    Hi Jo,

I am in Glasgow, west of Scotland. Kmac is in the east, so If we were going to yorkshire, I could pick her up most probably and come down your way. We will need to see where we are going to first though.

I am so excited about the job for the welfare/career advisor, I am going to read up on it now.

    Back later,

Hi FreeMe - welcome2.gif to the thread! :D

Lynne - well done on the interviews :T (I agree with you about the eagerness - it would make me suspicious, too...headscratcher.gif). I'll keep my fingers crossed for the welfare officer one for you. ;)

Today has been good for me re: money, because I ended up doing extra hours at 2nd job (11½ instead of the planned 10 :T ), but bad for me re: food help.gif- have eaten anything without a pulse that was within reachable distance spank.gif (including a large Starbucks hot chocolate with cream and an almond croissant which were waiting on my desk for me when I arrived brickwall.gif - pressie from a generous colleague, who then sat and watched me eat them , so I couldn't discreetly get rid of them in any other way than via my mouth...:rotfl: . Not that I'd have been able to anyway, I don't think, knowing that she'd paid lots in Starbucks for them! :o). The irony...I don't like cream or almonds, but ate them anyway - duh!! duh.gif

Managed to walk to and from work, in spite of the manky weather charrain.gif- but even so, I'm feeling pretty fat and cross with myself this evening...nono.gif

Ah, well - tomorrow's another day...

    Hi again all,

I've been out for a run in the rain this evening and feeling much better for it. I've recently cancelled my gym membership so that I can use the FREE facilities in the great outdoors! I also had a healthy dinner and no pudding! Woohoo! :j

Hope everyone else is doing well

    Morning Gang

Hi Slowlyfading and you are very welcome.

Well I thought my tummy was much bigger for the last two days and couldnt understand the urge to eat everything. Then I had funny pain this morning and yes I got my period  . You would think at 30 years of age I would actually recognise the signs, but no not icka, Im still in a mild suprise.:o :o

What an Idiot, ok so not I dont feel like going to the gym and in the back of my head dont think I have to as I still use my period as an excuse not to do things.

    How lazy am I.

Went out last night with my mum and had one glass of wine and 2 bacardi's and diet 7ups and I was hammered. Still didnt cop on - ah well may be pretty honey but you are not that bright (my dad used to say that to me when I was little and did something stupid :rotfl: )

We went to dinner I didnt eat much had 3 chicken wings and a little salad.

Oh my dad paid so that was lovely. Anyway I feel hung over today as I havent drunk in like 3 weeks after 3 drinks  I am dying.

Thinking about it, its just not worth the hang over. I love the social aspect of going out to have a good chat, but I cant stand the hang over.

Getting old. Our little baby BF doesnt have that problem, she is still a little tot.

How is everyone else this morning

Oh CC your FB picture is gorgeous, so very very pretty

Thanks for the welcome Piglet. I even managed to get out of bed early this morning and have a half hour run! Just hope I can keep it up! :T

Icka - I know what you mean about hating the hangovers, my body just cant cope with those anymore! I try and avoid too much alcohol for both the calories and the hangovers! (although the occasional blow out is fun! tee hee!)

Hope everyone has a good day today
