Good morning all,
I'm just going to get myself settled, have a cup of tea, write a couple of letters that I need to do and then blitz the back of this shop. It is a right mess, so I am as well doing it while I have the time, hopefully I'll have a job to go to soon.
I saw another one this morning in the Daily Record for a welfare officer type of one so I have requested the application form.
Agencys seem to be the quickest route to getting anything though, I just really started using them last week and I've had a few interviews since then. My friend swears by agencys she always uses them when she is looking.
The job I am going for tomorrow though is one I spotted in the paper a few weeks ago, so they have responded to my letter. I need to dust the suit down again, it's been getting quite an airing from last week!! Not much doing in here this morning again, don't know why I am surprised!!
I was thinking about how to save up for GW and remembered, I have an account which I put £7 into every week, so if I up it to £10 and don't touch it, that can be my spending money!!:T
Speak later,

Correct line of thought,
Tomorrow is another day.
So when you feel an bad decision coming on today.
just
think of yesterday and make and improvement on it,
you don't need to be a total saint.
Thats soooooo not doable, just improve on yesterday.
all them little piggies are me, when you feel an bad decision think of little piggies and think of what I have posted.

Small steps sounds good to me. Dont worry SF - there's loads you can do today. Do half an hours exercise or have a healthy salad for lunch. A treat every now and then shouldnt spoil your plans. I think the hardest thing to do when you're trying to be good is to say to yourself ITS OK! and then carry on trying.
Keep going! :jBe who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Morning everyone,
SL - The job you went for sounds really good, I work for an organisation that helps people into employment and training (a bit like the jobcentre, but voluntary). It is rewarding and feels good when you see clients transformed because you've empowered them.
Freeme and SF - welcome to the gang, good to have more on board.
Does no-one want to join me on FB??? It would be great to put faces to the names.0 -

No Jo, I didn't get the PM, were you sending it to tess? I have got facebook but haven't used it very much, my photo isn't on it.
You can send me the details, cause it would be nice to see what you all look like, then I'll add my photo on.

So do you actually do the same job that I am going for Tess? I'm going to PM you with the name of the company to see if it is the same one you work for.

Jo,so much for that lovely post...you are one wise lady, and absolutely right, as usual! :A
I am having a better day today - started off with a better breakfast (back on the old weetabix ) and brought a more interesting lunch in with me from home today, so enjoyed that, too. Think its going to be jacket potato for dinner tonight - probably with beans and little bit of cheese and a big salad!
Am about to go out and have a walk - have a few errands to run for work, so will do them "on foot" rather than bus-hop and kill 2 birds with one stone!
Catch you all later - hope everyone is having a good day...
