Doesn't apply to this item unless as you say the item is faulty. The thing is TomTom software is very expensive. So the software is being copied and then being sold on ebay! Ever wondered why there are so many 'As New' tomtoms advertised? :rolleyes:0 -

My predicament is that I have a UV coated screen so I will need an external aerial before I know whether it works.
They are very responsive.0 -

Thanks but I have a Renault Clio and their screens block more than Fords, according to what I've read anyway.0 -
Ok Guys, Just come back from my local store.
Price was £469.99
I spoke to someone that looked important and i said i was a bit miffed that the ring and reserve line said the Tom Tom was £319.99 but the onscreen price says £469.99. He tapped away on his computer, then rang the ring and reserve line on loudspeaker. Its said ....todays price is £319.99 so he said no problem and put it through the till. One for me and one for a friend :T
Thanks to the OP!!!!!!!!!!!!!Hardcore moneysaver0 -

They are very responsive.
My wife has a Morphy Richards with a chrome coating and plastic handle; it prevents the heat convection from the standard heat element.
It too is very responsive but the hot water tends to play havoc with the tomtom software disc.
Sorry couldn't resist!0 -
