I didn't have the code, I think it depends on who you talk to. Give it a try if your asked for the code make an excuse up and call again later.

I sent an email asking for clarification as the Nectar website wouldn't accept the voucher code for what I thought was an extra £30 off what were already discounted cases.

I got the following reply from Nectar:

I am very sorry for any confusion caused by our recent offer to join the Nectar Wine Plan.
The offer that we are currently making is for an introductory case to the Nectar Wine Plan priced at £39.99. The Nectar Wine Plan is an excellent way to keep your wine rack topped up. A case of wine is put together by our buyers and reserved for you every three months. We’ll send you a preview of the case that has been reserved for you and if you want to make any changes to the wines in the case or the expected arrival date of the case you simply need to contact us and we’ll be pleased to make the arrangements.
All of the cases in the catalogue that we sent to you are heavily discounted and a reduction of at least £30 has been applied to each case. One of the cases was reduced by as much as £37. Every case represents fantastic value for money and you will also receive three bottles of Rioja and a free lever pull corkscrew if you place an order. The voucher that was inside the pack that we sent to you represented the minimum saving that you would make by ordering one of the cases. I am very sorry for the misunderstanding that appears to have taken place as a result of our inclusion of this voucher. It was not our intention to imply that the voucher would entitle you to an additional £30 discount on the case that had already been reduced by in excess of £30. I am very sorry if this is the impression that you were given when looking at the offer.
The reverse of the voucher does state that the value of voucher is deducted automatically (reducing the cost of the case to £39.99) and you do not need to the enter code if placing an online order. This is why the site did not recognise the code that you entered; please accept our sincere apology for any confusion caused.
I hope that you will agree that the offer of a really great case of wine, plus three bottles of Rioja and a lever pull corkscrew for £46.98 (including postage and packaging) represents unbeatable value and we would be delighted if you choose to join the Nectar Wine Plan by placing an order.
I do hope that this clarifies the offer for you and we hope to hear from you soon.
If we can be of any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.
    Kind regards,

I checked my order about 30mins after it was taken over the phone and it was there on the website but at full price. I didn't bother ringing them as I knew the price was adjusted manually.

Just checked and the order has disappeared.

I think nectar wine club will be getting a call in the morning.

I had the flyers, but not the £30 voucher.
Its not "Fantastic Value" -their all offering similar deals
Reminds me of Sainsburys "50%" off, say Strawberries, so you get to the checkout and find the price on the punnets has already been reduced by the 50% in small writing
