  • morning all! hoping for some sunshine for my green tommys today!
    So far I have
    • had reduced raspberries from yesterday for breakfast
    • not spent anything ;) as i've only been up 10 mins!
    And I will
    • get OH to call orange - anyone know anything about defaults? I've never had one :ohttp://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1041939
    • use up stuff from the freezer to eat today as landlady is selling the flat (short notice!)
    • register with agencies for flats... we didn't want to pay any more than we're paying now so we'll have to move a couple of miles, anything decent in clapham is 300pw for a one bed, but they're quite cheap to buy, v strange  maybe because so many new grads move here because they've heard of it? Also by moving into a different borough our cTax will halve!
    • Line dry a load from 30deg
    • watch some cricket :D sky sports earns its money in this flat!
    Have a good day all

    Morning all

    Today I will/have done
    • 1 load of washing on eco7, whites just doing now but all to be dried on airers as the weather is pants.
    • Post 15 ebay parcels (everyone paid as soon as the auction ended - minor miracle)
    • Do 2 hours tutoring with DD2 on her maths and 1 hours confidence building (think that may involve cooking of some sort)
    • Lazy afternoon indoors
    • Chinese takeaway for tea tonight - a treat as both DD's got such good school reports and much cheaper than going out for dinner. (Won't go for the supermarket alternative as I'm bound to spend more than needed if I walk in there) Paying from ebay profits as one person collected their items last night and paid cash.
    • Have a bottle of our home made elderflower champagne with dinner (free booze!!)
    • Transfer £185 from paypal :j
    • Check bank accounts
    • Start getting some car insurance quotes and see who works out best via quidco.
Hope you all have a great Saturday

    Good morning all,

Not like me to be on here so early but going out soon(ish).

    My dfw things for today:
    • washed clothes and hung on line (which I have just taken in due to the rain  now it has stopped - no doubt it will be back on again - one of those days)
    • received payment for 1 ebay item sold
    • will go dutch for our late anniversary dinner - not very money saving for me but DH is low on cash (he normally pays as he's never been thoughtful enough to buy me a present or card for that matter)
    • will go to Homebase as it is 10% off day as we need a few things
That's all so far. Have quite alot of stuff I could probbaly Ebay but can't seem to motivate myself when I'm tired after doing the usual housework and this dreadful Summer is really quite depressing.

Anyway, today so far I haven't achieved very much, I blame my friend who came over last night with wine. I have/will:
    • Been to B&Q for the scotia trim for my flooring I laid last week. The shelf ticket said £4.99 but at the till it was only £2.99 :j
    • Was tempted by the burger van at B&Q but resisted and had bacon roll at home
    • Slice the pie
    • Do clicks
    • Clean with Stardrops and microfibres
    • Put washing on line now as the sun just came out :T
    • Make storecupboard cottage pie and freeze in portions
    • Get some more ebay listing done
    • Relax :)
    Hope everyone's having a good day :)

    So far today-

    Checked online banking
Bought Stardrops AND 20 microfibre cloths for £1.89
Bagful of veg and fruit for £2.66 (including the free Banana my lo had while we were in there!) Gotta love your local grocery shop!
Made lunch for LO and DH from storecupboard and stirfried myself the leftover veg from last night to have with a quorn fillet.
Picked up my eggs from my Mum (who gets eggs from a retired veg-van man - 30 eggs for £1.30, better for 15 @ £1.50 which is tescos value).
Had a lovely long refreshing walk out with the buggy (no petrol for shopping)
Sinfully bought Lo a Fimbles books and myself an address book for a combined..............75p from a charity market stall.
    Updated spending diary.
    MSE-ing since 2007
