Nice one for spotting this, mine arrived today from Comet
Had a quick fiddle with it and I'm pleased with the image quality and ease of use, it was recognized straight away in Ubuntu Linux and in XP. Gonna have a go with some video later, when the squirrels come to ravage my garden once more... 0 -
What's the 10% Jessops code to use?0

have just won this camera on comet clearance website. my winning bid was £77 + postage of £8.95 so not a bad deal all in all. can't wait for it to be delivered. was ex display though but no defects (so it says) we will wait and see.0

Great camera. I've got one of the earlier models. It will take hundreds of shots on a single charge. Around 400.
Great quality shots too. I often carry it around instead of my DSLR when I don't want to be carrying so much.
The only downside (and it may not apply to this model) with mine is that you have to charge it via the dock. Same with getting the photos off, unless you use a card reader.
Whatever happened to good old usb/usb-mini. It's frustrating when manufacturers decided to implement a proprietary connection when there's a perfecty good standard available. It just adds more clutter to my desk."Boonowa tweepi, ha, ha."0 -
These dont have a dock and have a standalone charger

On the flip side tho my old Casio had a desktop stand and it meant it was always fully charged and ready to go and very easy to download photos.0 -
Has anyone had a problem with the battery/charger on theirs?
The charger light on mine flickered and didn't go out to indicate the battery had charged and there was no charge in the battery (it took me a while to notice as I hadn't used it). Took it back to Comet today and they exchanged it there and then. The new one seems fine.0
