What's the deal?

A couple of suppliers have reduced the price of a high-spec, well-regarded compact digital camera to under £80. Since others are still selling it for over £150, this is a good deal if it suits your needs.

Where's it at?

Makinprogress originally spotted this deal at electronics giant Comet. There was a code to get 10% off which made its price unbeatable. Unfortunately the code's now expired, making web retailer Laksys the new cheapest supplier, at £78 inc delivery. It's £1 more at Comet, in-store and online, but some extra colours are available there.

Comet have reduced the Casio 10mp cameras from £149.99 to £79.00, and there is also a code on the codes thread, for £15 Off selected digital cameras. I tried all the colours, but this only seems to work with Pink,
making the total £64.00. (don't forget Quidco!)

I found the code (10DIGICAM) but it expired last night, does anyone have any new codes please? This camera looks great, there's some good reviews about for it.

I have gone for this anyway, my mum and dad wanted a new camera, so i asked on here, after searching around last week, this camera was on the list with a canon one, that was when it was priced at £120 so for £79 its a bargain!!!

I am picking mine up later today. :j

The black model is £79.00 at Comet and I have found the new discount code - it's 10DIGIAW (expires 1st Aug) - which appears to give another 10% off when ordered online - which I make £71.10. As Argos is currently selling this model at £169.00, this is a truly great bargain.

Nice find - thanks! Just collected a black one from our local store (£79). I decided not to spend £10 on a camera case at Comet - they have a basic one for £3.50 at Argos so will get that.

Only valid with these cameras so not sure how you did this?
