I don't see how this thread will save me money. I know it is nice to be pally with each other, but i know there are other wifey sites that you could post on to tell each other where you live. I know this because my wife doesn't get off them.

There are many other threads in this 'forces moneysaving' area that are not to do wholly with moneysaving such as 'italy draft', 'MHS thread', 'Do you tip the removal men', so please go and have a go at someone else!!!! Thank you!!

I have been an army wag for 12 years (married for only 1 year), as he went to Afghanistan last year. Thank Goodness, he came back in one piece!! He's now posted away to train people abroad for 6 months. I have always lived at home, I don't fancy moving away, I'm a homebird I'm afraid. It works out well for us though, I'm too lazy t pack my house up every couple of years. LOL:p
  • Hi! I'm an Army WAG and in the Army myself. Have only been with the OH a year and he's in Wiltshire at the moment.

good evening roomies!!! am a RAF wag. based in norfolk. OH is ex army, went on to civvy street - got scared by all the 'responsibility ' stuff so joined the RAF!!!! got 10 years left of his 22 year service. no kids yet but like kimberly will be picking up our first kitten in 2 weeks (easing him into the parenting lark slowly as not to frighten him too much!!)
i love the military life - both my parents were in the army so grew up with it - although we dont live in married quarters.

Our last posting was Norfolk - Marham. We were there for 4 1/2 years. I enjoyed it but some people hated it there - hope you like the area!!

lots of you in Lincolnshire! Anyone at Cranwell?
  • Hi,

DH is RAF and I am ex-RAF myself. We wouldn't have afforded me leaving the RAF without MSE so we'll always be very grateful to it - we now have a 20 month old daughter and I'm a medical student.

We are about as far north as you get - Moray coast but we love it. If anyone is interested, Mrs McCawber on the Old Style thread is really helpful for people in quarters and Germany and the like.

Any chat will be appreciated by me no doubt ....
