There are many other threads in this 'forces moneysaving' area that are not to do wholly with moneysaving such as 'italy draft', 'MHS thread', 'Do you tip the removal men', so please go and have a go at someone else!!!! Thank you!!Murphy's No More Pies Club Member No. 680 -
I have been an army wag for 12 years (married for only 1 year), as he went to Afghanistan last year. Thank Goodness, he came back in one piece!! He's now posted away to train people abroad for 6 months. I have always lived at home, I don't fancy moving away, I'm a homebird I'm afraid. It works out well for us though, I'm too lazy t pack my house up every couple of years. LOL:p0

i love the military life - both my parents were in the army so grew up with it - although we dont live in married quarters.

Our last posting was Norfolk - Marham. We were there for 4 1/2 years. I enjoyed it but some people hated it there - hope you like the area!!Murphy's No More Pies Club Member No. 680 -

Hi,
DH is RAF and I am ex-RAF myself. We wouldn't have afforded me leaving the RAF without MSE so we'll always be very grateful to it - we now have a 20 month old daughter and I'm a medical student.
We are about as far north as you get - Moray coast but we love it. If anyone is interested, Mrs McCawber on the Old Style thread is really helpful for people in quarters and Germany and the like.
Any chat will be appreciated by me no doubt ....
Ellie aka DFS0
