    Hi princess skint a lot,

There is an earlier thread with lots of recipes and advice on making pizza dough that should help so I've added your thread to it to keep the replies together.

    These threads may help too:

I have looked but cant seem to find the answer ,,apologies if Its here somewhere :-)
I am making HM pizza tomorrow,,but i was going to make the dough now,,,infact i was going to make the pizzas now,,including toppings but i figure they will be soggy by the time i bake tomorrow?

Would I be better off making the dough and leaving to rise in fridge then knocking into shape after work and rolling out then topping and baking OR do I make the dough,,leave to rise then roll out and put in fridge or part bake...OR do I make them completely topping and all and stick in fridge until teatime tomorrow?
thanks in advance for any advice, am tired and cannot decide :-)

I often make the dough the night before, then wrap in clingfilm before it proves, so tomorrow you would take it out then "knock it back" then make the pizza. Alternatively, do it all, make them up, bung them in the freezer overnight and either cook from frozen or take it out a few hours before you want to cook it.

Thanks Jex,,will make and leave in clingfilm. I was meaning to make and freeze earlier in week but never got round to it. Just got my flour out and dont have any strong white left only strong wholemeal,,think that hubby and kids will hate a wholemeal base but i am going to make it anyway, make small ones and freeze for me and my dd later. Will get some white flour on way home and make more for dh and sons tomorrow after work.
    thanks again :-)

lol i knew what u meant ,,,I have left it to prove and am going to stick it in oven in bit and make it as bread as its wholemeal, and I know no one will eat it as pizza really unless forced,,god knows what it will be like !! It will be ok as toast if nothing else. So looks like i am making pizza dough tomorrow after work. Friday is out pizza and pasta and dvd night :-)

I was wondering if anyone has a easy pizza base recipe ?

By hand or in a bread maker , although have no paperwork for the breadmaker. Hoping to save money rather than buy a pizza.

I used the Economy Gastronomy pizza base last night and it was delicious - really easy dough to work. Can't find a link, though, sorry :(

    Alternatively, try this thread :)

I use my basic bread dough. 500g strong white flour, 1 tsp each of salt, sugar and dried yeast, a splash of olive oil and 300mls of water. This makes enough for 4 large pizza bases.

I make the dough in my Kitchen Aid.
