I think susan will do just fine without winning. She has a much brighter future ahead of her. I thought she was wonderful, but yes subdued. Stress I think.
Diversity were great, and Stavros Flatley!
Aparently Jeremy Paxton has been quoted as saying that we are all too busy to enjoy culture, and we should be visiting galleries etc rather than watching tv:rolleyes:unsecured Debts at [strike]August 2007 £79,984[/strike] September £79,579 [STRIKE]Snowballing date July 2013[/STRIKE].

I agree MissKJ, Susan will do just fine and I thought she was rather quiet too (apart from when she flashed her thighs!!)I really need to sort out a new signature!0

Ah that's half term over then:o
Today I've had a nice laze about. Did get all the beds stripeed, bedding washed and back on beds. I washed some towels and G's dressing gown and thick cardi of mine while it was so sunny. Cleaned bathroom, kitchen and fish out, but forgot bunny:rolleyes:Oops.
Youngest just gone up to bed and I think I'll be on my way now too - G will just have to come up too:D
Off for my scan tomorrow, my friend is taking me. I've had a very boring 2 days of food, be glad to have some meat, fruit or veg tomorrow! No food or drink after 10 tonight and laxatives then too.....delightful eh:rotfl::rotfl:
Think I'm off to lie in bed with my book....I should feel refreshed and energised after a week off work...but not meI really need to sort out a new signature!0 -

Hello all,
Neglected my poor diary this week haven't I?!
Not really much to update.....scan went fine, no results as yet - no doubt they'll take forever...I mean, the 'urgent' scan took 6 weeks to come through
Girls are both out today - one is with her cheerleading group helping at the Race for Life and youngest has gone on a Brownie day trip - weather seems to be ok for now, sun even trying to poke through, so hoep it stays like that for them:D
Money wise I'm doing ok I think - really trying to keep the groceries down, but not really succeeding there I don't think:o I have bboked an Asda delivery for Thursday this week - which means I wont have done a big shop out of this week's spending money, so that's good. Just got enough to last through til then and have meal planned til next week. We nipped into Asda yesterday, it's a good 20min away, and there was so much more choice than our Tesco that I thought I'd try their dleivery. It came to about £65, used a free deliveryy code from here and went through Quidco, so may get £5 as it's my 1st delivery. Got loads of food too, so rather pleased with that.
Must get some more stuff on ebay soon, everything's finished now. Just transferred £100 from Paypal and will use that to pay £50 each on the catalogue accounts that I bought the girls' DSis from...as the APR is about 39%! :eek:They are the first things to pay off right now:rolleyes:
Plenty of tidying to do today....think a little list is in order....:D- sort all clean washing out (on airers right now)
- ironing
- dust / hoover all through house
- clean kitchen and mop floor
- stuff on ebay
- check meal plan is finished and all stuff bought / on order
- general tidy up
- watch lovefilm dvd (probably whilst ironing;))
I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Ok so far I have ironed while my Lovefilm dvd was on - got a few bits ironed and photographed ready to go on ebay later.
I've swept kitchen floor, made a big batch of coleslaw for work for next few days, now need to mop the floor. I keep putting off going upstairs to dust/hoover - I hate doing it, but it needs it:o
It's quite tidy, have put a few bts and bobs away, just need to keep going;)
Making lasagne for dinner, mince is defrosted so will do that soon.
Ok, off I go upstairs to do my room and girls' room.....I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
NSD no.3 today as all I've spent was £5 on groceries, so that's been added to the grocery budget.
I've just spent ages dusting, clearing and tidying. I've done the girls' room, my room, stairs and hall then cleaned the bathroom and mopped the kitchen floor. Just going to take the hoover up and finish off. I've put lots of bits and bobs away that have just been hanging around....bits lie around for so long that I just don't see them any more....if that makes sense?!So now things are all in homes....lovely;):D
Eldest is being picked up at 3.30ish, but the traffic will probably be awful getting away from the Race for Life so think I hjave some time yet. Youngest picked up around 4.....where has the day gone?!
Been lovely here though, weather-wise...so pleased:D They were really looking forward to their days out so would have been a real shame if the weather had spoilt it:p
Anyway, off to finish off before girls get in to mess the place up again:rotfl::rotfl:I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Hi MS I said I would be looking in unfortunately my computer picked up a virus we think it was facebook, DD's boyfriend sorted it for me. You have been busy, well done on the 3 NSD. Have also made an effort to put some items on ebay this week and managed to sell 4 items already on buy it now, 2 items are for pick up and they are paying cash so no paypal fees. Weather here has been good if somewhat cold, hope both your girls had a good time today. My daughter loved brownies and all the activities that they used to do.0

Sold a cd on ebay that I listed last night:beer: So £6 from that and an electronic game of the girls sold on Amazon last night, I'd forgotten I'd listed it - probably about £12 profit there once I've paid postage.
I *should* hear from UCAS if I have the place on the degree course in Spet later on tonight or tomorrow - I emailed the Uni as it was taking ages....fingers crossed:o;)
Off to get the parcels packaged up ready to post tomorrow.
NSD today.....:beer:I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Fingers crossed for the place on the degree course, I know when DD applied for her place it was nerve wracking for her and us until she got her letter.
Is it much the same selling on Amazon as Ebay and are there fees when you sell and to list?0
