    Morning!
Up nice and early as had to get eldest off to school. She's gone now so will have a shower and get going. I've done a washing and got it on the line, lovely day at the moment....hope it lasts! Forecast looks really good for the weekend so might have a bbq tomorrow night while my sis and her 3 are here.
DD2 and I are off to town later to buy her some converse boots with birthday money my dad gives her. Also need to buy her a few little bits from me.
Got plenty of things around the house to be doing too. Think I'll write a list......
    • Cut front grass (did back last night)
    • hoover through house
    • Tidy girls room ready for their cousins to sleep in too
    • clean bathroom
    • clear piles of clothes from my room so my sis can fit travel cot in!
    • post ebay parcels
    • washing is done and on the line
Right, must get on - want to do the garden before we go out.:D

Today I have spent nothing...mind you I've lost a days wages as been off with my daughter who's unwell, so not good. Just need to pop to PO later to send the girls fabulous school reports to their dear father, very generous of me I thought!! So, under a pound today.
    I have also...
    • listed 3 books and 3 dvds on Amazon.
    • Listed an OU book/dvd on ebay.
    • washed sheets, now on the line.
    • Scrubbed kitchen floor and lounge wooden floor.
    • dusted lounge.
That's about it...And I've spent ages on here!!!
    Thanks :A:A:A:A

    Morning all!
Had a good weekend with my sis and her family here. They went home yesterday afternoon and left my eldest niece (age 11), so my 2 were kept amused;) I'm meeting my brother in law halfway between our houses this afternoon to return her....about half hr away.

Finally heard from HB about my money after telling them my wages had gone up....they took 3 weeks to sort it out and suspended my current claim so not had money from them in ages....and they've decided I've been overpaid by.....(wait for it).....£22:eek: hahaha....BUT, the 17 page letter seemed to say that my next payment was due on 21st May....not had a bean and my DD/bills account is very very low:mad: So I'll be on the phone to them in the morning if nothing goes in tomorrow.

My spending account is on zero - but I have a couple of bits I need to take back to shops so refunds there, not much - jeans I got for dd1 £6, a bikini at £8 for dd2 and another bikini that was £6 - had to buy 2 so dd1 could choose between 2. All things were in sale. I also have a cheque for £25 from my dad for dd2s birthday - I bought her some Converse with the money so the cheque is mine!!

Won't need to spend much this week until the end of the week, and TCs will be in then. Tomorrow dd2 is having a sleepover for her bday - so just need to buy some dinner for them - pizza it is;)

On Wed we have to go to town for eye tests, so will return the bits I need to and not buy anything else:D Well, dd1 wants to choose dd2 some earrings for her bday.

On Thurs it's her birthday...age 10:p We're going to stay at my sister's, will probably go to the beach or the park for an ice cream.

On Friday we're going to a small theme park type place, all paid for with Tesco vouchers:T So just a picnic then and in the evening we're having Pizza Hut takeaway with 50% off vouchers:beer:

Home Saturday and hopefully the girls will go and stay with their dad til Sunday evening....give me a rest before back to work....mind you Im not back at work til Tues - got my Barium meal scan on Monday....nice:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Well, one child is up....2 still asleep;) I probably should get up too, but it's raining so quite happy in bed:D
Just need to tidy up a bit today, write lists of things to get done and check I have the food we need for this week - trying not to spend now until Thurs, just pizza tomorrow, parking on Wed and the last bday present for E.....I CAN do it:p

  • I have worked as a TA too though currently doing support at the moment, it fits in well with looking after my two aged 11and 9. I have read through most of this thread and find it very inspirational. Well done you are doing a fab job!

    Hi Milly!!!

Great on the E-on cashback, I went to them last year & got the cashback really quickly too. Dont forget to register your tesco clubcard with them as well for extra points!!

I have got about £20 coming from Quidco this month, was really hoping for £75 from nat west car insurance that has been rolling over since January - but not holding my breath!
