MM2,
Thanks for the advice, I will have a look at the catalogues later, just clear the 2 ones with the extortionate interest! I have a Littlewoods account too, a 0% interest one though so not worried about that at the moment, it's only on about £100 too, may be less now.
But daft to have the silly accounts there and charging interest when I have the money to pay them off - I'm just loving having some money saved!!! It hasn't happened in a long time!!!:pI really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Just sold another book on Amazon, £4.60 profit:jI really need to sort out a new signature!0

Just a quick update...NSD today hooray! Hardly surprising though is it when you see the weather! So had a quiet day at home, girls desperate to get out of the house though. It's stopped raining now so they're out on their roller skates, but getting dark so will spoil their fun and call them in soon.
So, what have I done? I dusted girls room, mine and the hall upstairs, then hoovered. One job done. Did about 2 hours of ironing this morning and hung it all away. Did a bit of college work, at last. But really need to pull my finger out and do more. I packed up 2 things to post on Mon that sold on ebay. Also I've listed 3 more things. Have a pile of jeans of Emily's that she's grown out of all of a sudden so will prob put them into a couple of bundles to sell.
Girls are off with dear father tomorrow til Mon afternoon, so I MUST get college work done and more bits on ebay.
Off to browse the forum I think and enjoy the wine I found hiding at the back of the cupboard - what a nice surprise!:beer:I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -

Hmmmmmm I read the first couple of pages but got a bit confused and gave up! Thought I'd give it another go when the girls were out and I could concentrate more!!! I do want to get going with it, it just seems rather daunting right now:oI really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
A few bits sold on ebay tonight - £16.21 to add on. Not bad for stuff I don't want/use!I really need to sort out a new signature!0

Just attempting some college work but distracted by the computer yet again!
Girls are away til tomorrow so I must make the most of the peace and do some work, but I keep putting it off, it's ridiculous really.
Anyway, today so far I have...- dusted then hoovered the lounge.
- Stripped girls' beds - sheets on the line (been brought in 3 times cos of the rain! Sunny for now, fingers crossed)
- Cleaned the bathroom
- swept kitchen floor
- Bought NOTW for the £5 voucher
Right, enough putting it off, I WILL go do some work, boring boring!!
:T (for me!)I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
All I've spent today is £1.75 - NOTW and milk that couldn't wait til tomorrow. Pleased with that after my NSD yesterday. Cheap weekend:p
Next weekend we're going to Paignton with my mum and step-dad, they're paying, bless them. So fingers crossed it's dry. Should be lovely, I haven't been down there since girls were small, about 7 years ago I think. So will try for a cheap week so I won't feel bad spending a bit next weekend, will have to treat them to a meal or 2, and fancy showing the girls the model village.I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
OK, not too bad a week so far spending-wise. On Monday I went to Tesco, I spent £49 after using my £5 off voucher and included in that £49 were 2 Cath Kidsston bags to sell on ebay, a diary for school and brown paper to wrap my parcels. Total on food was £38.82 (including some toiletries too).
Yesterday we went ice skating, so I spent £2.50 on the park and ride bus, £11.50 for girls to skate (I found free skate hire vouchers online so saved £3.50:p ). In there I bought 2 coffees for my friend and I and 1 coke for girls total £3. Then I filled up the girls coke cup with cans I brought, and they ate food I'd brought along too;)
Sadly on the way home we went to Mcdonalds! I was so hungy, it was 2o'clock, hadn't eaten all day so was desperate! Total in there £7.70. We then went to New Look and got girls a pair of school trousers each and G got reduced jeans and hooded jacket - total £27 so not bad. Also got her an umbrella (cant squeeze 3 of us under 1 ) and got a few bits of fruit+veg in a greengrocer (I love them - we don''t have 1 near us, just supermarkets). Got cherries, carrots, red cabbage, pineapple £2.70 then 2 packs of frankfurters £3 and rolls reduced to 20p.
Actually it's not too bad when I see it written down. I came home thinkin I'd gone mad and spent loads, but its not that bad.
Staying in today as it's been pouring all morning. Sunny now tho so got a quick wash going. Girls nipped up to the shop to buy icing sugar, so not a no spend day. They made fairy cakes, so cheaper than buying!!
I've been good and done a bit of college work. I'm Ok once I get started but I usually do anything but work! Still, I must keep at it, I'll be glad I did!I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
