we have a friend who works there so got an extra 10% off so it cost us £359.99
So your friend abuses their discount..?
You might want to let your friend know that abusing the discount for family or friends (or anyone else for that matter) is an instant dismissal.
If you wish to conduct fraud with your friend, keep it to yourself.. I'm sure with just a little bit of digging someone could trace which store you purchased it from, then there can only be x amount of employees who purchased a TV with staff discount from that store.0 -

Do you forget to wear glasses or watch the TV through a pint glass?
The difference between 1080p and 720 is unbelievable (from a HD source).0 -

No. I didnt forget my glasses, but I do watch half of my movies thru the bottom of a pint glass or two..:D
I am sure your right for LARGE tvs but anything smaller than 42" and I think you would struggle to see the difference.
Have you seen a side by side comparison on same sized TVs ?
Allso what were you watching "movies" are deinterlaced differently to digital sports signals and give an entirely different effect.
Upscaled DVD is good
Blueray 720 is fantastic
Blueray 1080p or 1080i better. but are different things for different jobs
Not saying your wrong (coz your not:D ) but I personally dont think the better image is THAT much better unless you have a monster size TV.
Mine is a samsung 50" btw.“Careful. We don't want to learn from this.”0
