the sites you have quoted are spam sites i am asking as my oh has said he does not want to be creating a site for this kind of thing,

I use this company as they do everything - They have a website builder which walks you through the setup and have quite a few templates so you don't even have to have the imagination.
Also what you need to do is think what you want your website to be called and see if it has already been registered. You can do this at http://www.nominet.org.uk/ or http://www.whois.net/
Once done you can register with 1and1 and away you go - you will also get email addresses.
Ther are other companies out there so try googling for it but remember to keep the website fresh and updated regularly. Also do not be tempted by companies that say they will promote your website - it is all out there for free if you just look!

Just before you do, have a look at this forum site, exceem with a dot and a co dot uk. This is a forum for the many people completing referrals on said spam sites along with the progress they are making.

Wow, considering you came on here looking for help, why are you giving robpw2 so much attitude? He is trying to help you and you just threw it back in his face.....

The sort of thing you are trying to do, (from what i've seen at that exceem place) is called pyramid selling and is often thought to be a scam or con... whether it is or just a clever way of selling / marketing is for anyone to decide, but I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole...

Interestingly, promoting that sort of thing on here is banned which gives you an indication that people are just not interested in it anymore.
