    aww thats pretty sucky news!
You are more than welcome in my suitcase my dear, it is rather large and I actually think i could fit all my clothes in there, not just the ones i need for summer!

Come to think of it, in January/Feb (possibly earlier) we're looking at moving a bit closer to your end of the UK, admittedly still not scotland... but closer. is it very cold above the River Thames?? LOL

NYC is such a fab city, my aim is to go back there at xmas.

lol you'd have a very very long way to go to get anywhere near this end of the country.

Well Oh as applied for fire service in Cumbria, which would be starting in Feb, when our lease here runs out.
So I'll be closer to Scotland than I will be London....

I'm so excited about NYC, just looking 4ward now to some time away, just let all the worries take a back seat for 7 days, and then (hopefully) come back refreshed and ready to crack on with business. Ideally I need for some of that to rub off on OH though because as cruel as it may sound, he's kinda holding us back at the moment.
I'm really excited about getting a piece of jewellery from Tiffany which I've been told I can get :) and getting a I heart NY hooded top for lounging in. I got pyjama pants last time, and i think theyre starting to wear slightly as I love them soooooooo much I'm forever wearing them...

Well done on not spending out on the tickets too, I'm starting to rub myself up against MSE once again to get back into the swing of things!
Hows your jewellery business going by the way?

    YAY for matching pj's C!
Yes still doing the photograpy, although after recent changes to my employer, there are no more opportunities to get anything set up in stores.
Hoping to send them my details for a xmas opportunity but all depends if I still have a job by then...

Feeling slightly better today after having a rather indepth chat with OH. Thik we're both just a bit stressed out. Hoping that tomorrow brings better things and he gets a call tomorrow from a job he had an interview for on thursday just gone...
Working on de-stressing myself 2nite so had a nice free relaxing bath (we dont pay water rates, bath stuff from a gift etc) and read a book to chill out a bit.

Cant decide what to try and get done this week as we go on hols for a week on saturday, might send off a couple of letters and check OH's credit card to make sure there is no PPI on it.....

OK just to make myself feel like I've done something on the monetary front.
I've done a BT from one card to another (the ones in my name).
Ive got £2250 at 12.9 and had a card with credit of £1600 at 0% till march, so to keep within my limits I transferred over £1400 from the 12.9 to the 0%...
Saving a nice sum in interest.... :)

    Good Morning Everyone!

Managed to get a decent nights sleep for the 1st time in ages, could still have done with a couple more hours but its my day off tomorrow so maybe a lie-in then :)

Have been round the house and found all the credit cards and I'm actually taking them into work and laminating, this way we wont be able to use them... i pay even put a little something in the laminating just to demonstrate how we cant let the debt control us now... we have to make changes and get the ball rolling...

Yeehaw! For positive motivation this morning. Hopefully day at work will go relatively quickly....

OK so as Im sitting here waiting to leave for work (got up and ready a bit earlier today) I've just checked my online banking. Now aside from food, I have spent £160!!!!! On just stuff! Well I say stuff, i got a new tattoo so thats where half of it went.... but I mean.... bl&&dy hell. I could have used half of that as extra to the debt... or stocpiled it considering OH hasnt got a job...

Next month I feel a challenge coming on.... I'm going to make it through august with only my direct debits and standing orders leaving the bank... I've got to, theres no 2 ways about it! We need to get some funds to back us for if OH doesnt get a job soon, and if he does (heres hoping the call comes today!) then we need to use it to smack the debts with....
We can do this..... we need to do this and we really want to do this!

Well got to admit, the laminating didnt quite work... although i think I did melt the card a bit so I dont think its use-able anymore...

Payday is on friday, but i wont be in the country v.long to spend much of it... have a habit of having a bit of a payday blow-out because i suddenly have more money available.
Hopefully with being out of the country will mean I come back to some extra money in the bank....plus my balance transfer should have gone through by then.... so things should be a bit better next month... esp if i can put the surplus £160 or so to much better use!
