I had a peek at the rest of the site - there's a lovely red wrap dress I'm quite tempted by;) ... I think I'll have to restrict myself to visiting that site only when i feel strong enough to resist the urge to splurge!:rolleyes:

I can't wait until I start to show and need to buy bump friendly stuff. Bit worried about staying smart for work though. We need to wear suits most days - any recommendations

luc M&S have their sale on today, I just ordered a bunch of maternity tops and a couple of pairs of trousers. Most of the stuff is around £7 so some decent reductions, you might find something for work there.

Thanks Toto. Will have a sneaky peek at lunchtime as the office is pretty quiet today and that seems too good an opportunity to pass up.

I take it I just order my normal size and the maternity design accommodates any expansion unless I turn into a complete blimp?

Oh dear, I'm sorry! I am a bad influence!

But when you're pregnant, feeling as though you look nice makes it all more bearable somehow - sorry if that's a bit shallow but it's the time when you are the most obviously feminine you will ever be in your whole life, and that deserves a little bit of celebrating, even though your back might be aching, your ribs might feel battered and bruised and you are smiling through the indigestion!

The only thing you might have to do in order to wear it afterwards is alter the hem so it doesn't dip at the front. I'm rubbish at sewing, but I would think a dressmaker could do that really easily.

Lucifa - yes, just order your normal size - in fact I had to wear a size smaller through my pregnancy because I didn't get big enough to fill most maternity clothes until I was about 7 months pregnant.

Not a bad influence - a valuable source of useful information - its not your fault I have no self control when it comes to clothes... The only reason I haven't spent much on clothes recently was because I had promised myself I would get back down to a size 10 first. Might be a slight delay to that plan now however :rotfl:

Hmmm thats OK if you are of sound mind but someone we know designed his own tat which was supposed to be for his daughter who was "the apple of his eye" now you would imagine artwork of an eye with a small apple in it with maybe his daughters initials or name in the apple? Yes?................
