  • Thats lovely - congrats

My DD knows there have been issues with her father and me (well seeing a policeman in the living room gives it away) but I still wanted her to see him - over last few years he as let her down again and again to the point where he said on phone to her he doesn't want to see her again (new wife new family) its his choice she see's him for who he is now and has a harsher opinion of him than i do - I hope one day they patch it up for her sake.

In your case fraggle I would have stopped the contact due to DD being let down (her Dad being unreliable). If he doesnt want to see her, why try and make him. Its his loss! (Saying this with good intentions, hope you dont mind x)

  • Tiff - no probs
it was only b'days and xmas more a family thing than anything else - in fact on the odd occassion she went at the weekend (she did want to see him) he would be too busy playing sport than to spend time with her - but no problem any more

Thankyou everyone for your very kind words. I don't mind admitting I have cried so many tears of happiness because of having my "baby" back!

She has been reunited with some of the family and this will continue with other members of the family over the next week or so. Everyone has been soooooo happy to see her again, which has been great encouragement for my daughter. :grouphug:
