I just wanted to send you my thoughts and prayers and the knowledge that no one ever leaves us completely. He lives on in your family and in the way he lived his life and influenced the people around him. He will always be with you in your heart and mind, watching over you.

Weller I have not been online much for the last few days and have only just heard about Andy's sudden passing. I like so many others am so sorry that this has happened and want to add my condolences.

You will get through this one step at a time, one minute at a time and one breath at a time. When my DH died I wanted the world to stop turning but our children helped me to keep going and I am sure yours will too. When you feel up to it have a look at Stormbay's thread. I have found it a great source of help and support over the months and you would be most welcome.

Hope you don't mind me posting this poem, but I found it to be of great comfort to me when I lost my Dad to cancer 18 months ago.

He Is Gone

You can shed tears that he is gone
Or can smile because he lived.

You can close your eyes and pray he'll come back
Or you can open your eyes and see all that he's left.

Your heart can be empty because you can't see him
Or can be full of the love that you shared.

You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday
