Refuse Refund -Consequences ?

I think, rather than posting ebay ids for everyone to add to their blocked list, the OP should post details of what evidence they have of being scammed themselves?
What is the buyer claiming? That the item has not been received
Does the seller have proof of delivery? No
Does the seller even have proof of sending? No."Now to trolling as a concept. .... Personally, I've always found it a little sad that people choose to spend such a large proportion of their lives in this way but they do, and we have to deal with it." - MSE Forum Manager 6th July 20100 -
My mother has major problems at her address, two years running my birthday gift to her failed to arrive and more recently a large boxed item was lost, does that make her a scammer then? Should I report her for not being able to persuade the PO to deliver to her?
Likewise, we locally had a problem with a rogue temporray worker that mislaid bag loads of mail, luckily I wasn't buying on ebay at the time but if i had been unfortunate enough to have had several items in the bags that were 'mislaid' should I be outed all over the internet?
Personally if any seller had tried to get out of refunding me I would have persued them through paypal and then through my credit card company and then even small claims as well until I had my refund.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. The blocked bit was aj oke as I am well aware we do not post ID's!
I question the fact that he has three other "not received" which with this one (and I presume we are beliveing the OP) that will be four.
SO my question was - do ebay keep a list of people claiming for so many not received items ?as if it was a confirmed address then there is a problem.
Also do the RM start looking into these as if the OP did have a COP he may well be claiming, and then surely the RM are being done!
All this is of course presuming that the seller is telling the truth and the poor buyer is not trying it on.0 -
OP, you're assuming the buyer is scamming you, but you have no evidence for this. The feedback doesn't count, as in Soolin's example, there could be a reason for missing mail.My TV is broken!

Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -
