I ordered a few things last week and they came all damaged. Rather than use boxes which they do for small or single item they just bound the items together and wrapped it in what looks like like bin liner ( black thin film).Did they seriously expected it to not get damaged packaging like that. Ive emailed them and just waiting for a response which is another thing , there delivery and email response is very slow.
  • Boots deliver my things by Business Post and they are absolutely awful!
They left a parcel on my doorstep for 6 days last month!

A friend recently ordered and received the Canon A400 which was a Boots web special a few weeks back, when I went over to help them get started with it I wasn't impressed with the delivery or packaging either. Only if the price was very good would I recommend them in future.

 I rang the cs team and they said it will be another 5-7 days and thats after we recieve it or I can give it back instore and re order but that way I lose the points and the money of code. So I checked the camera and seems ok so will have to stick with it.

Its just the price is realy good, in jessops its £1.99 and its little brother a510 in booots store is arnd £159 to £169.

I will soon post the pic of the box so you know what I mean. I reckon the delivery guy might hav had a look but I dont or cant blame him but boots wharehouse people.

AJ some time in life you are

The manual only lists to 512meg cards but why would you need to go to 1gig.

Just carry a spare 512meg, they are a lot cheaper and its not all eggs in one basket then either.

It does 11+mins of video at 640x480 with a 512meg card or 237 shots at 2272x1704 finest quality which is prob a higher res than most would use anyway.
All Dell'd up ;) several times over :)

The reason MikeT was that Ebuyer are doing a 1g card for £36 with free shipping so I thoght might as well go for that one. But I am novice esoecialy with digi cams so dont know much.
thanks for listing how many images you can take with 512mb (237 is alot)

I agreed the packaging is awful as is the delivery company they use.
I emailed them telling them so and suggest others do the same.
