    The offer of extra points was very quickly taken away by Boots, if the camera wasn't ordered while the offer was genuinely on the website, I don't think you will get them, and in all fairness this is correct.

    You should get the camera ok, it was the issue of the extra points that I meant - that extra offer was taken away mid morning of last Wednesday. If you weren't expecting them at all then it's me that's wrong :o

    bit strange isnt it i placed order on 19th and the money has not been taken and say this shpment is being processed. Whats happening? anyone? its my first order from boots and online.

    Wouldn't worry too much yet. Boots don't always update their system promptly and they're also not the fastest deliverers. I've had orders delivered that still say "being processed".
  • addy - yeah sorry I got confused there! I'm not too bothered about the extra points just now, I should be but I lost my boots card and i'm just happy to get the camera for that price!

    It's a special birthday this year so I don't mind getting something a little bit fancier than normal ;-)

    I got my parcel today .... well just as I expected from hoots boots Sh*t service the parcel was all ripped, and to be honest i dont feel happy to use the item so Ill be ringing them to take their rubish back. If they offer to send me another one within 48hrs than I would accept but i doubt it.

    I work in cs and I know what I would do just alone today I gave so many p&p back as they deliverys were late.
    I will let you know so you know how much this comapny sucks, please share your experience. I hope your parcels were ok.

    I don't think they collect parcels - there's a thing to take it down to the post office with postage already pre-paid. I could be wrong. Boots have got a very strange delivery company either business express or city link I think - Boots gave them a parcel at their depot in derbyshire, to deliver to me in leicestershire. The brainiacs at this delivery company only sent it to northamptonshire - so for a week it was going on and off the van, until I phoned up boots and told them where it was and that I wasn't having it. During this time some intelligent person at the northamptonshire depot realised leicestershire and northamptonshire were two different places and got the parcel sent to leicestershire. I took it straight down the post office once I received it - I wasn't having somthing that had been thrown in and out of a van for a week.

    yeah really bad. the only decent company i have seen to deliver well is Q vee see. They use double boxes plus polystrine etc for protection, they even used that for my ink refils greaat.

    So I too cant have something that has been thrown about, their cs team sent me email saying i might get the points but still my heart doesnt agree the box looks a mess, I will ask em to send me replacement via next day but i am sure they wont do it for free.

    ps but I give free next day in my job and in end i get a customer who pays 100+ for giving back 3.50. (sorry if i dont make sense, I waited for my first digi cam and :( )
