For those considering a purchase, here's the summary of an excellent 9 page review.

It would be hard to find a more suitable first digital camera for the novice digital photographer than the PowerShot A520. No matter what the situation, the A520 turns out perfectly exposed and focused results shot after shot. And the fact that as well as idiot-proof 'point and shoot' modes and scene modes you get a full array of manual options means it's a camera that you can grow with as your skills develop.

I tried to order this camera yesterday and it was out of stock so I probably wouldn't have looked again this morning. I also only had a code for £10 so you have saved me another £5.

That's a very very good price if you can get it. I got the almost identical Canon 3.2 MP A510 a few months ago - not 4MB as the A520 - the lowest price that I paid then was around £127.

I've been deciding whether to get one for the last 20 minutes. I finally make a decision only to find they've removed part of the offer .

still expensive in many places, jacobs said they can order one from anothor branch at £169. So think of it like this.

Btw the pentax optio they had for £150 in stores has gone back to £199. I dont understand all these stores and shops.

I ordered one without the points and I feel bad. But guys make me feel good please. thnx I love this place
