be bold, they can only say no. Use a big store not the little Metro ones. It,s all money to them. Start off small if your shy, you will soon be going in with anything you can get your hands on.;)

Teedy, £14.57? How many vouchers did you use. I only have the courage to use 2 or 3 at the most and that is on the self scanning.

Hi DFD, I,ve looked back and used 14 coupons on that shop. I never go to self scanners, I find it,s easier to pick a good, generous cashier.

Now on £229.46. Slowing down here aint I.

  • Wow, sounds pretty impressive. I am in New Zealand and we don't seem to have many coupons here, and those I do find are generally for things I don't buy or are not that much of a discount.

But good on you for saving so much!! :T

  • just out of interest are these the 50p off ones you get through clubcard, If not can you advise me as to what they are as me and my girlfriend are always in tesco.

    thanks
  • After reading all the fab advice on here, went to Tescos and used a £4.00 Sainsbury's voucher and numerous others and shopping was reduced by £18.57. SA was brilliant and did not bat an eyelid, even said that she had a customer in the past that had paid for all her shopping with coupons.

The coupons that are being referred to are money off coupons that manufacturers issue. Lots of coupons and all you need to know is here
