Thanks for that advice - I keep looking round the different forums but keep getting sidetracked - this site is great but HUGE. I love all the friendly folk though!

Sorry, can't use the thank you button - I'm having problems with certain buttons at the moment

I,m adding £11.60 to my total today. I,m noticing availablity of coupons is slowing, can only be because they dont like people actually using them.

  • I've run out of coupons at the moment but have saved a good amount using coupons for things I haven't bought in our Tesco's.

I hand a pile of coupons to the shop assistant and say "Are any of these any good?" then they scan through and use the ones which work. If they don't work and they get a bit puzzled I just say "Never mind I'll have it back!" .

    It's so simple !

I,m now up to £347.06 and more to come leading up to crimbo. I,m not counting the £25.00 off my shopping when I bought a new phone as a present, from Tesco. I,m very pleased.

Tonight I used what may be the last of this years coupons, I used my luncheon vouchers from surveys too, these are not all for the year, I have used quite a few. My coupons were valued £24.60 and my survey vouchers £36.00. So from a bill of £101.51 I handed over £40.41. My total coupon savings till now £427.61, well chuffed.

Since June 2007 ( 18 months ) when I got into serious couponing, Ive saved £11,511.40.

I have an Excel document with the tally. Ive also only paid £851 for the same period in actual money.

Crikey, that's impressive. Is that MOCs only? We save on average around £20 to £30 a week using MOCs and have been doing so for over 20 years. But enjoy it while you can; now that Martin has told every man and his dog about this wheeze, they'll probably put a stop to it.
  • wow £20-£30 a week where do you get all the MOC from?

I have brought some off ebay in bulk and use them to save more, would be interested to hear where people get them from as Tesco dont accept the internet ones now (shame)so it only original ones.

Thanks hopeing someone can help me save some money in 2009 as due baby no2 and having to give up work so all help to make further savings would be appreciated.
