As we all know we are all having difficulty with conflicting coupon policies if you have a copy of a policy please let me know

TESCO COUPON POLICY

icon1.gifTesco Coupon Policy
HI all

Please find below the policy that my local supervisor in Tescos gave to me last week after it was reissued to all stores (or so she said) She'd been keeping an eye out for me coming in and gave me a copy to keep with the email I take in should I have any problems using coupons.

Hope this helps.

ASDA COUPON POLICY
From: "Lucy Robinson" Sent: Wed 07/05/08 1:21 PM
To: <r4pture>
Subject: Response from ASDA (Ref #000000019540738)

Thank you for your message.I'm sorry to hear you were refused to use the internet coupon.I've looked at the policy and here is what it said
:Internet Coupon Acceptance The 21st century method is to make available coupons via the internet rather than manually distribute paper coupons to households. We do accept coupons that are downloaded and printed from the internet (not photocopied once printed). Stores need to know that the same stringent conditions apply to internet coupons as the old style manufacturer coupons:-¤ The coupon is in date and has not passed the expiry date ¤ They are not specific to different retailer (Not ASDA e.g. Boots) ¤ We stock the product All accepted internet coupons attract the usual handling charge which becomes store income. One temporary rule which remains current policy until a more comprehensive policy is formulated is: -Only one internet coupon per product item in any single transaction - unless the customer actually buys the product in multiples and the amount of coupons tendered corresponds with the same amount of items purchased. The above does not include Kiosk
I suggest you print this off and show this to the customer service manager so they are aware of this policy however I'm disappointed they don't already know.thanks again for your email.Kind RegardsLucy RobinsonASDA Service

Thank you for your message.Thank you for your email.I have now received a call from the Nottingham store.- ASDA do accept internet coupons.- As long as we stock the product you don't have to buy it to us the coupon.- The limit of the amount of coupons that can be used is down to the stores discretion, for example, if your shopping comes to the amount of £50 and you would like to use £30 in vouchers this would not be possible in most cases.- Coupons can only be used in the ASDA store, not the petrol stations.- All ASDA stores do accept internet coupons however, the amount that can be used is down to stores discretion. Thanks again.Lucy RobinsonASDA Service Team----

SPAR
Thank you for your email.
Unfortunately we do not have a universal answer for your query. SPAR in the UK is made up of six regional distribution centres, details of which can be found in the Links section of the website.
Therefore the answer to your question could be different depending on the area you live in the UK. Please contact our RDC for your area by finding your area on our map in the Links section of our website or if you wish to reply to my email with the area you live in, I can forward you their address details.
Kind Regards Sarah Healy

ICELAND
Thank you for your enquiry.
Whilst shopping at an Iceland store it is the discression of the
individual
store as to whether they accept theses vouchers/coupons.
If you are using the home shopping facility (?) I can request one of
their
customer care advisors to e-mail you with their policy.
regards
Deborah Martin

SAFEWAY
Thank you for your recent enquiry.
I can confirm that Safeway policy regarding the acceptance of coupons, including Internet coupons, is as follows.
We accept valid date suppliers’ coupons for the purpose of merchandise, provided, that Safeway offer product from the named supplier.
A customer may redeem no more than six identical coupons from one supplier, unless he or she is actually purchasing the named product in quantities in excess of 6.
Coupons are not exchanged for cash. The total value of coupons redeemed must not exceed the value of the bill.
I trust that this information is helpful to you. Thank you for taking the time to contact us.
Kind regards
Hayley

SAINSBURY
Thankyou for your e-mail.
In answer to your question relating to the redemption of coupons\ vouchers, they have to be redeemed against the relevant product stated.
However, when redeeming internet vouchers ,( STY ) it is one per transaction relating to the spend required stated on the voucher.
Hope this is of some help.
Kind regards, Susan Shaw Sainsbury's Customer Services

BUDGENS
Thank you for your email.
We only accept coupons for items that have been purchased and that are sold in our stores.
I hope this information is helpful.
Yours sincerely,
Joy Newham
Customer Services Manager
SOMERFIELD
Thank you for contacting us regarding the acceptance of “money off” coupons.
We can only accept manufacturer/Somerfield coupons when a purchase is made of the relevant product. This decision was made in order to adhere to the terms and conditions of the promotion and brings us in line with other major grocery retailers.
We hope that this clarifies our position and should you have any further problems please speak to the store Manager who we are sure will be pleased to help.

• NEW ASDA POLICY from 1st October 2008

Staff at ASDA (Lincoln ) have been informed that they can only accept coupons for items that have been purchased and only one coupon per item - this is straight from the horses mouth (my daughter works there)

Get those hoarded coupons used soon or loose them!!!
• Received this in an e mail from Alpro Soya. You just need to contact them and presumably they post out a 40p MOC:D

Email address is [EMAIL="info@alprohelpline.co.uk"]info@alprohelpline.co.uk[/EMAIL]

We want to let you know about our great new single cream alternative.
Enjoy it poured over fruit and desserts, or include it in cooking. It has all the benefits of single dairy cream, but with 45% less fat. Plus it's free from artificial colours, preservatives and sweeteners, and free from lactose, gluten and wheat.
We're keen for you to discover it for yourself, so we're offering you 40p off. It's available in selected Sainsbury’s, Tesco and Waitrose stores next to chilled dairy cream. To find your nearest stockist and to request a 40p off coupon simply email us with your name and address, or call our freephone helpline on 0800 389 9436.

Pedigree Better By Nature (Fixed) £1.50

Is now allowing you to print off 2 times (Was 1 before the 'failure')

Now to the slightly serious bit: Mods can we please have a poll for the members to choose whether they want this thread kept split or joined back as it was previously? I asked at the time for the 'Chat only' thread to be made sticky to try and prevent laziness but I understand that you can only have so many stickies. Maybe this will then go some way towards putting this constant 'chat' regarding this thread for once and for all! Suggest a week long poll and majority wins, if you vote you agree to stop moaning whether you win or lose!! :rotfl:
:p:p Have a good [STRIKE]Tesc[/STRIKE][STRIKE]Asd[/STRIKE]WHO? day - Err....I still wish Mozzies had a better website even though they are now on MyS! :p:p :rotfl:;)
• 1st post updated

Please chaps this is a friendly community. Please don't argue!
I understand peoples frustration. people want different things and it is hard to know what to do for the best. I am not a Mod myself I just started this thread. and take the time to update it each week for the benefit of everyone that uses coupons.
There are 2 sides 1 side that just wants to view the coupons that are available at anyone time. and the other that wants everything to be together
CMathews I understand what your point is. you want to be thanked for putting the link on in the first place. The thanks do not mean anything to me. Im just trying to keep the thread tidy and easy to use for the benefit of everyone else. If It helps I would be more than happy to add who ever posted the coupon on the links as well. I dont understand what difference it makes surely we just all want the coupons? There is no need to be rude or condescending to anyone.
M4rtin Your idea is a good one and maybe it could be a possibility putting it to the vote. I believe that people just get frustrated when they get an email stating there is a new post on this thread and they think they have a new coupon to use when in fact it is just more chat.
At the risk of annoying everyone yet again with a chat related post. let me just remind everyone that this thread is a collaboration between like minded people to try and do what this site was set up for. TO SAVE MONEY!! I find it a little selfish that people would stop posting coupons just because they are fed up with chat posts. Come on people please!
