The benefit for you to claim if you are feel you are unable to work is Employment And Support Allowance, not Jobseekers Allowance. What benefit are you currently claiming?

whilst unfit? but was he employed as a driver?

    wouldnt his employers HR/H&S/Insurers object?

if im ill im ill, i wouldnt employ someone who is ill, my doctor told me to avoid stress or tension and if i have an attack to use the spray and diall 999 for an ambulance, cant wait to to come out with that at a job interview

No. He changed job (those 2 events are unrelated) - there is nothing to stop someone who can't drive due alternative duties.

could you tell me what id put in the "medical conditions" box on the application form that WOULDNT rule me out of a job whilst still telling the truth?
"have you any medical conditions that could affect your work?"

Not really, unless you count angina, diabetes, a blocked artery, high blood pressure, panic attacks........

It depends what your needs are and what you can and can't do.

Any tension, stress or difficult situation (including heavy traffic whilst driving) brings on palpatations (im not even sure WHAT angina is)

am i a possible candidate for IB or DLA?

my specialist told me im i needed a stent or bypass but later that it wasnt worth doing and id have to stay on tablets....

so if i dont have to walk far ill be ok

our bus stop is 200 yds though......so with no other driver in the household im kinda stuck

my question seems to have been overlooked.

Are you currently working or in receipt of any benefits?

it does look like ESA is the benefit you need to claim then, if you cannot work.
