stay Well Away From This Company!!! So Easy To Get Signed Up With Regardless Of Whether Service Is Available Or Not. Pipex/homecall/whatever Their Latest Nome De Plume Is. They Signed My Elderly Mother Up For A Great Package Over 3 Years Ago. Included Broadband. Only Problem Like Many Rural Areas Hers Did Not Support Broadband. When This Was Finally Established She Cancelled Or Thought She Did!!!
Being An Elderly Lady Who Had Arranged The Payments By Direct She Assumed Her Cancellation Had Been Equally Efficiently Dealt With.
Wrong!!
Earlier This Year We Discovered It Had Not Been Cancelled. Several Expensive Calls Later Over Aperiod Of 3-4 Months, Speaking To A Different "customer Care" Operator, And Each One Assuring It Was Now Cancelled,it Was Finally Cancelled. Also Despite Promises At Each Conversation That The Over Payment Would Be Dealt With And That Written Confirmation Would Be Sent She Has Only Recieved Bills "refunding" The Broadband Portion Of The Bill Ie No Longer Charging The Bb Portion There Has Been No Attempt To Address The Prior Overpaymennts. There Is No-one To Take Charge Of Any Of This. Each Person You Speak To Is The One In Charge. I Asked To Speak To Managers Superiors And The Head Of The Company. I Was Told That Was Not Possible I Asked Why They Said There Was No-one Else To Speak To Or Write To. Read Their Complaints Procedure And Try It If You Would Like To Experience An Incredible Sense Of Frustration And And Indifference Not To Mention The Worst Customer "care" I Have Ever Encountered.
