muhamid i put a nes sim in last night and rang up for the bolt on.
I'll let you know how it goes0 -
hi i did bolt on for 50 xnet yesterday received message - O2: your free bolt on has been loaded onto your account and you will receive the benefits of this until 190106. i tried calling one number and it says i have no balance so can you please let me know how this bolt on works. many thanks.0

WARNING yes you do get a bolt on added, but consider this the Free Bolt on offer does not start until the 29/10/05,and you must have topped by £10 to get.Bolt ons can be added before you top up anyway, but 02 do warn you you should be in credit. so when you do credit your phone they probaly will take the bolt on cost out of your credit.EG So 50 minutes would cost you 7.99 out of your credit.
Can anyone confirm that they havent topped up in any way,but they have bolted on on a inclusive minute bundle, and were able to use it?PF.0 -
Drat, I think pricefighter is right. Looking through the O2 site you can select Bolt Ons anytime. It's tricky as it's on the Treats page, but I think it's not a treat.
The Calls50 deal costs 7.99 a month normally.
The joining treats deal starts at then end of the month.
I texted them Calls50, and it says they will contact me in 48 hours.
I'm sure they will try and charge me, but I've not toped up.
I will cancel it until I hear people getting the 50 mins without topping up.0 -

Call me thick, but it looks like only Muhamid is getting the 50 free minutes!0

nevertheless, I think Pricefighter is right - the joining treats promotion does not start until later in the month
so if you have registered at the moment, it may be for a paid offer, which it says will become active when it is paid for.
alternatively, re-reading the post of busymum1, maybe the offer has unofficially started early, but it's unlikely to be usable before any credit is applied
it may be very uplifting to receive a message that the [free??] calls have been applied, but it may be that if the SIM is actually used (or attempted) without credit, then it will soon be blocked - there has been discussion before about similar circumstances with free texts and being blocked after a couple of days (though I didn't study it much)
apologies if my remarks are speculative, but I don't see the point in risking destroying the usefulness of the SIM
- after all the £10 gets you 100 minutes in the first place, then the 3 x 50 per month, and £10 credit value of calls, + £2.50 credit on registration, and perpetual one free roaming call and text per week.
I think the roaming call is a great feature, and so do others. I'm posting 2 SIMs to Germany today0 -

Are you telling us you have made a call out of your bolt ons from your sim that has no credit in it .In other words you are telling us you can make a call from a new O2 payg online sim when the balance is zero.PF.0
