I believe it means your phone is locked to the Orange network. Orange will give you a code for £20 to £30. Local market stall will unlock for about a fiver and if you are lucky it will cost nothing (MSE has individuals that will advise the unlock codes for most Nokias etc). Before you buy Google Nest or British Gas Hive check out ESPproMon the Android and iOS Smartphone app that helps you build the same system from just £30.0 -

Sorry I have posted what others have said but when I checked no-one had replied (must be something to do with the slowdown/changing of servers)0 -

Once you are certain the phone is dual band, check out this thread for non-Nokia phones or use this thread for information on how to unlock Nokia phones for free."Now to trolling as a concept. .... Personally, I've always found it a little sad that people choose to spend such a large proportion of their lives in this way but they do, and we have to deal with it." - MSE Forum Manager 6th July 20100 -

Being totally stupid here, and too lazy to look back the 18 pages of this thread, but how long do you get the free bolt-ons for? Can this be used alongside the free 300 texts or texts/calls? Thanks. If I had known then what I know now . . .

Lazy !!!!!!, I know what you mean though about 18 pages. It's not so much the reading more the time to download 18 pages even on a 2MB link. Martin should ask his techies to add a 'download thread' to any threads over 3 or 4 pages. That way it would all be available to read on a (local) single page.
Free bolt on is for 3 months, must be started before early Jan.
Don't know about using it with free texts etc. Before you buy Google Nest or British Gas Hive check out ESPproMon the Android and iOS Smartphone app that helps you build the same system from just £30.0 -

You can change your settings in your UserCP (control panel) on the beige bar so you can view 40 posts per page. This thread is only 5 pages for me.
