I'm still undecided which to go for the standard or the grand.
The standard is the same size as my ancient slow cooker and it's big enough to make a stew for four in.
Sometimes I only cook for me so is the smaller more practical?
Would I be able to cook a whole meal in the smaller or is it better in the bigger one?
Questions, questions, I just don't know.
So do I buy one this size or go for the bigger one?£2 Coins Savings Club 2012 is £4.............................NCFC member No: 00005.........

Hi Lesley,
my experience was so different - thought this link might help as it still seems to bring up the lakeland summer 08 catalogue - http://www.lakeland.co.uk/browsebycatalogue?c=08_ootk and as you can see it quite clearly shows the lower price (pages 48 and 49) and on the front says valid until 31st August 2008.

Thank-you very much perrywinkle
I have now ordered my Grand Remoska and paid the old price of £99
The customer sales advisor had to manually remove the tenner as she couldnt find the brochure at all
Unfortunately its out of stock at the moment but will be back in by the 22nd and despatched then
So thanks a lot girls for giving me the backbone to have another go

Did a nice lunch in the remorska today - sliced up some halloumi cheese, mixed with slices of tomato, dressed with pepper and olive oil, took about 15 mins. Very tasty. Cooked it in a small pyrex that sits in the shallow pan.
I took the plunge and bought one for my super green parents at the weekend. I had also bought the recipe book and had that with me when I visited and my mum took down the details for potato cakes and has promised to give that a try during the week. She really liked the simplicity of the remorska, so it stands a chance of being used!0 -

This is the email I got about the cheaper price if it helps anyone
Dear Miss ********
Thank you for your email regarding the Standard Remoska Cooker.
The price has gone up in our new autumn catalogue, but as you rightly say, the price of £79.99 in our summer catalogue is valid until 31.8.08.
In order for us to charge you the lower price, you will need to place your order by telephone and please mention that you are ordering from the Summer Catalogue so that we can ensure the correct price is charged.
As always, if there's anything else we can help you with, please do let us know. You can email us at net.shop@lakeland.co.uk or call our customer services team on 015394 88100. We're available 24 hours a day, seven days a week and will be happy to help.
Kind regards
Catherine Rosa

This thread and others on this site have probably increased Lakelands sales on this product by a huge amount.
One wonders if the price would have been hiked by such a huge percentage if it wasn`t such a good seller.
