DD(14) brought a couple of friends home for an hour or so and was amazed when I baked some choc chip cakes in the Remoska for them all.
Her friends seemed more enthusiastic about the cakes than she did and have just left happily munching cake.
I thought I had a six portion silicone muffin tin but it is 12 size and does not fit so I used a large silicone round as a liner and put eight paper cases in it - then filled with the mix."This site is addictive!"

Such a shame Lakeland aren't on Quidco any longer - especially as I now need to order a second Remoska for my mum.Official DFW Nerd No 096 - Proud to have dealt with my debt!0

Made my first batch of scones in the Moska today - must say they are the best I have ever made and I have been baking for over 30 years! They were so light and airy. Another success.0

What recipe did you use please, and timings, and was it standard or grand machine, and did you cook them straight in the pan, or in another tin?
TIATOP MONEYSAVING TIP
Make your own Pot Noodles using a flower pot, sawdust and some old shoe laces. Pour in boiling water, stir then allow to stand for two minutes before taking one mouthful, and throwing away. Just like the real thing!0 -
I’ve known about the Remoska for a few years but have never been in a position to use one until recently. Two of my neighbours bought Standards about a year ago, and while one of them uses hers nearly every day, the other had a disaster the first time he used it, it went back in the box, and he’s never used it since.
I asked if he was interested in selling it and he said “Yes, I want £50”……….. the money was in his hand before he had chance to blink!
I am now the owner/driver of a Standard, with both pans, a rack and two unused cookbooks………………….. and it’s brilliant. The best roasted veg ever!
I’ve used it every day, even baked bread for the first time, and once I get our freezer stock reduced to a reasonable level, I intend to get back to using fresh, in season produce. There’s only me to cook for now, as my wife is PEG fed with ‘goo of the day’, so as George Bush once said……. “the world is my lobster!”
I’m busy collecting recipes. This is a great place for ideas and like minded people. Thanks all.I have all the money I shall ever need........... providing the world ends next Tuesday.0 -
Hi Shopndrop
Did you use the recipe in the little "users guide"booklet that comes with the remoska?
I have made a couple of batches of those ones -with dried cranberries in and they have been gorgeous :T (I don't put the baking powder in though)
The scones were soooo nice that tonight Im using leftover roast chicken to make a chicken cobbler -with cheese n mustard scones on top nomnomnom

I was in my local Lakeland yesterday and had to laugh when I went to have a look at the reductions, there sitting piled high were 9 battered misshapen grande sizes pans.I guess they must have a lot of problems with misshapen pans then.Strange it's only the grande though.0
