I will do, a quarter of the price sounds great!...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -

I've never used foundation, I must admit - never been quite sure what benefits it brings, and how to put it on!...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -
On how to use it just depends on what kind you get, i use foundation to hid little imperfections and even out skintone. You must be blessed with lovely skin if you don't feel the need to wear any, don't start because you'll find it hard to stop, wish i hadn't started now.:hello:0

Has anyone used the Maybelline version? I saw it yesterday and it was about 1/4 of the price of the YSL. It didn't look that light-reflecting (too creamy somehow) and the colours were a bit stronger, but maybe it looks ok on?0

I have freckles, which never cover up well and look worse for the attempt, and otherwise I have even skin which tends to dryness, so I avoid putting much on it if I can....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -
I buy W1 (i think thats what its called) concealer and in my opinion is just as good as touche eclat
I get it from ebay, less that £5 including p&p.

I've had 2 or 3 Touche Eclats, and they do go off - they end up smelling awful!
I have tried the Boots No 7 and it is quite good but is a lot lighter and you seem to need a lot less - there are 3 shades to choose from.
The reason they smell awful is actually down to the brush. Have you ever used a facecloth and left it in a damp bathroom to dry? If you have you know the smell I mean, fusty! This happens to the brush if you don't wash it after every use. I use a little soap on the brush to remove all the concealer, then rub the brush on a towel and let naturally dry.
I can guarantee you will never have to throw away good touche eclat because it smells.0
