Touche Eclat or alternative?

I fancy getting one of those Touche Eclat highlighter pen things as I am looking really old and worn out and could do with a boost. Had a look on ebay and came across another product called Touch of Light, saying it is endorsed by the stars! saying it is just as good as the YSL one.

Has anyone tried it? I would rather buy the more expensive one if the cheaper one is rubbish, just thought I'd see if anyone could recommend it?

Cheers

Never heard of that particular one, but I have heard that The Body Shop's Touche Eclat style concealer is pretty good.

Is touch of light by Virgin by any chance? If so, it's not too good. Touche Eclat is your best bet.
Just because you made a mistake doesn't mean you are a mistake.
  • I think it's by a company called Kent? I will probably bite the bullet and buy the dear one, I've never spent more than a couple of quid on any makeup before though *gulp*

Collection 2000 do one called Illuminating Touch which is sort of equivalent (probably not quite as good but certainly much cheaper).

Virgins one is called out of the shadows, retails at £12.50 and is very good.

The secret to using these products is to apply round the socket area, over the shadow and now right under the lower lashes. This is because it allows the light to hit the light reflecting particles which bounces back thus giving the illusion of no shadows. Don't use it tho if your having photos taken using a flash, the flash will bounce off and it will show as white lines in the photos. If you want to hide shadows for proffessional photos, then its really concealer you need to be using
:rotfl: l love this site!! :rotfl:
  • thanks folks, I will get one of those soon. As for photos, I try to avoid a camera whenever I possibly can!

Aldi had some today for £3.49 - 2 colours available, one for peach complexion and one for rose complexion. Consistency not as thick as Touche Eclat but does the same job for much less money.
