I have a revlon one that was good- but you may be able to pick a touch eclat up off ebay for half the rrp x0

Channel 4 did a test on some concealers:

Hope that helps!
Clique is my best bet in terms of a slighly cheaper alternative, its £15 which isnt cheap but slightly cheaper and works just as well.
I thought no.7 was too much like paint- no real natural give in it, and rubbed/flaked off during the day and the colour variations are seriously lacking
I didnt like Maybelline for the same reason
And Bonjours was too illuminating- my eyes looked very odd, and it also seemed to settle into skin creases and make me look like I had wrinkles, and I was 24 at the time!
Rimmels stick concealer isnt too bad but quite thick and can rub off, but for about 2 hours your fine
Bodyshop is ok0 -
Touche Eclat is quite pink based and can look quite obvious. Give Barbara Daly (at Tescos, £3.50ish) a go or Revlon (£5ish). they are more beigy toned, creamy and blend well.0

I think that may well depend on your skin tone - I have very pale skin, with pinkish hints, and the palest touche eclat is perfect for me. I tried the B Daly one, and it was too yellow-y and dark for me....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -
I think it's a brill product and well worth the money. The things I spend the most on are foundation and touche eclat, because I believe these are the things can make you look "cheap" if not done properly. I am not saying all cheap foundations are rubbish, you just must find one that is perfect for you and stick to it, even if it is expensive.
I agree, i love touche eclat can't fault it. i do use a cheaper foundation though only because the one I'm using just now is new and was on offer. It's the rimmel lasting finish foundation, claims to last 16 hrs and is transfer resistant it's really good, i was using clinique but found it didn't last and was expensive.:hello:0 -
neverdespairgirl, the Collection 2000 version comes in three shades and the lightest is perfect for my skin, which sounds a very similar tone to yours. And it's a quarter of the price of Touche Eclat - try it!
